I felt this. I was buying groceries n returned things I felt I didn't need n the cashier looked at me in a funny way and when I was making a payment my card declined 😪 but wait, it was only because I had nothing on my savings so I still had to transfer my self cash(not that I didn't have) well my ego forced me to grab all the other items I had put aside just for the cashier who had a funny face on some "bitch you don't have money" no bitch see!I am paying for everything!😂😂🤣😂😂
I have that ego too, I'm leaving with 2019. I also don't recommend balloon payment and I also don't recommend a deposit for a car, rather save that money somewhere
@@nkaiseng4698 last week I went to go and get one. Vodacom told me they cannot offer me the data contract I needed due to my low credit score. Cell C could only offer me R100 worth of contract🙁
I really like this video because you point out some very pertinent truths. Finance is more of a psychology subject than it is a quantitative one. They don't even teach that in university.

Hi Nicolette, I'm interested to hear what "financial advice" ( I write this in quotation marks so that the FSCA doesn't come knocking at your door) you would give white-collar workers, especially those that report to first-line managers, with the 4th industrial revolution taking over? Unfortunately, most of them have not upskilled and this posses a great threat to their financial stability. LOVE THE CONTENT BY THE WAY!
I thought life insurance is separate from disability and medical cover. I also don't see the importance of leaving money for people when I die but I value having protection while I am still alive. Which institution offers comprehensive cover that wont cost me thousands for separate covers.
I heard you but sometimes some of us, what pull our finances down is the reason that we are called "Breadwinners" or some say "we pay black tax".. meaning if you are from a poor family, and you're the only one working, everybody looks up to you for money to survive or even lavish. so have you ever gone through that before you shout "YOU MUST SAVE MONEY"
