The journey to find inner peace can feel impossible when anxiety, persistent negative thinking, depression, OCD, chronic fear, anger, and phobias show up in our lives. We tend not to experience our pain as something to be worked with but instead something we want to escape. This exercise brings you in contact with two very different ways of being: problem solving and noticing, appreciating, experiencing. Each of these ways of being have a different emotional resonance for each of us and the challenge is to acknowledge how you approach yourself in your most difficult moments and look at a new way of interacting with your experience when it's hard.
