Finding big Brown Trout in the fall can be difficult in Michigan, even during the spawn. Heck, spinner fishing small creeks in Michigan and finding big Brown Trout in general is difficult any time of year, but in the fall the deer hunters come out, and that always makes for an odd feeling when walking through the woods to get to and from the trout stream. I often find myself repeating, "I am not a deer!"
Anyway, in this episode of the Average Joe Fisherman, it's the end of October, snow flurries are forecasted, and I am waste deep fishing small creeks for trout. The thing about spinner fishing for Brown Trout is that you will usually find a few players, even when it's cold. Which is exactly how this day unfolds, it starts off slow but, but the end of the outing, I land a few "day makers."
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the video.
