I seen Elvis in Booneville in January of 1955. He did what they called a warm up show in the cement pavilion on the courthouse square. My dad, mother and grandfather was there.

Man, thanx for another exciting part to this story. I remember the original videos you posted on this place....Loved those as well. So cool to see and hear someone who was actually there when Elvis played there. man, love how you take your Elvis history so seriously. Also love the Wishing Cotton was a Monkey podcasts.....(hope I got that right).....Too bad the Von had to close as a restaurant.....but - like you said - hopefully someone will open it up soon as something useful to the public! Again, thanx for the wonderful vid......Love Tuesdays for Trey....and Elvis as well. Take care, my friend.

But not being negative purposely , only asking just seemed kinna odd Trey never narrated!

Cool interview. I remember you filming this place in an earlier video. Too bad Bidenflation closed down this restaurant. Hopefully the building will stay preserved and no one will take a wrecking ball to it.
