If you know me, you know that I love visits to the junkyard. So much history, cool "junk" and "gold" here. I love finding finding all sorts of things and turning them into art. It's not always about the cars that I find. What's the best thing you've picked up at a junkyard?

One has to love the excitement of an "old school" junkyard. The fuzzy feeling in a stomach with the hairs on the neck standing up only compares to a bull elk 20 feet away in thick timber. I regret selling the 59 GMC 1/2 ton with the 270 inline 6. Even had a "fleet grill" in it.

@@WelderUpVegas as I was watching the video I was telling myself those were put back there for you. If anybody is going to find the gold it is definitely you. Always big love brother we would make notes and fold the paper up like a triangle and we would flip as far as we could for the field goal. And hope it got to where it needed to go before the teacher got a hold of it 🤣🤣🤣🤣♥️🤟🏽🤟🏽

Hell yeah!!!!! I’m always waiting for Welderup videos on RU-vid, like a trap door spider!!! Welderupvegas is my favorite place in Vegas and I love to go there every time I’m in town. Thanks Steve!! I was blown away last time I was there in March. And as always I couldn’t get out without buying shirts. I got the new Diablo truck t shirt.

Bonjour Steve, In France, we have not such junkyards ! Bultaco, Kawasaki, you know also them, cool, I was Yamaha 😁 A Cummins in this nice truck ? Why not and could you remind me why you prefer diesel to gasoline engines ? In France especially, diesel was promoted because built by a French company you perhaps know, Peugeot, merged later with Talbot and Citroen and now a worldwiid firm called Stellantis. Great stuff Steve, we had a Apache 1/2 ton and a 2 1/2 ton Viking with 2 speed axle. Kids nowadays would know how to start them with the starter having a pedal on the floor. Keep em comin hoss🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

I know I saw 1 dodge pickup but the truck you had the door open on and said it was worth 2500 was that also dodge. Great honey hole I kept seeing treasures all over.

My first vehicle was a 3/4 ton 59 Apache long bed step side with a 283 and a granny 4 speed. Loved that truck but the no power steering sucked.
