This song is genius! Other people love the first half better than second and then other way around. This song has something to everyone. But ofc there are those boring people who doesn't like this at all and I feel so sorry for them. They're missing out BIG TIME!
I love the first half but even though the second half is less for my liking I also really appreciate it because there's an actual idea about it. The song is about letting loose, about how especially men are afraid of expressing themselves, so thematically it's brilliant how the first half is more like "masculine brooding", and then the second half has this gleeful dance party vibe. This song was such a pleasant surprise for me.
Why do other people have to be boring just because they don't like this song? People have different taste in music and it has nothing to do with being boring or not. Stop being so judgmental.
Well, people have various tastes when it comes to music, and all opinions counts. 🤔 But I agree with you, this song is genius, and I absolutely love it, and I love HIM! 😘🥰
l watched cha-cha-cha show and Tatoo show. Tatoo depressed me. Chachachá made me happy and being shocked. Such an original stage conception!!! So Finland is my WINNER
The song is made to have two equal parts. One aggressive, which showcases one side of his character and the other more melodic, which showcases his other more fun part of himself. I personally love both, because the song never gets boring. It's an exceptionally well-composed song and the two parts aren't disconnected with one another. This is a top 2 for sure and I will root for Kaarija to win in May. Let's make EV fun again.
I think your reaction was pretty much what we here in Finland are hoping for, now, go watch the lyric video and rank this number 1 😀. The song changes midway, because it's a story of how Käärijä gets over his inhibitions and social awkwardeness after having some drinks, and then has the courage to hit the dance floor and be the softer version of himself and free of worries. Something most Finns can relate to.
The world needs some silliness. And when it's combined with an absolute banger it just becomes what all of us need right now amidst all the seriousness and darkness. We're proud to have blessed the world with this joy even if we don't win (which I don't think we will). 😘💚
I'm hooked on ESC reaction vids. Your take was definitely one of the best, most wholesome Käärijä reactions I've seen at all. I live for these unexpected/unfiltered emotional outbursts, those are exactly what reacting should be all about. I also think it's safe to say that we all love your energy, keep doing this 💓💓 oh, i forgot: the reaction at *1:05** = instant sub*
What makes this song legendary is the mix of the techno rap part with the edm like part. I can understand people wanting to keep the hardcore till the end but I find greatly matching and ingenius the switch up.
🇫🇮 Finland came to win! Slogan for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is "United By Music". Cha cha cha does it! Its unique and catchy. Käärijä is iconic! Winner! ❤
@@ukasztwardowski4809 the idea is that the song starts as aggressive and cold, just like the character before a night out. He needs to let go and relax after a long week, but typical of a Finnish man, he can’t let his fun side out. So once he has drank a few pina coladas, he is able to be himself and goof to the dancefloor. There’s some more nuance to this, but I think this is a good summary of the progression of the song! Edit: I guess you could say that he has these preconceptions of what he is supposed to be like and how he should act. Once he is on the dancefloor, he feels free of those outside (and inside) opinions, being able to let go.
Song lyrics in English: [Verse 1] This exhausting week and the many long days are behind There's only bar and piña colada on my mind There is some time for a few, the night is still youngish This icy shell is something I have to demolish [Chorus] Holding on the drinks with both hands tied on them like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no There's no tomorrow when I grab a pint tightly like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no Wanna mess my head up and to free my mind of fear like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no And I stay on this seat until I have to climb off it like a [Verse 2] A couple piña coladas I have devoured Yet the expression I have on my face is sour Yeah, yeah, ye, ye, yeah There is some time for a few, the night is still youngish This icy shell is something I have to demolish The floor is calling me when I'm no longer so frozen Like a cha cha cha I am approachin' [Chorus] Holding on the drinks with both hands tied on them like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no There's no tomorrow when I grab a pint tightly like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no Wanna mess my head up and to free my mind of fear like a Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, no And I stay on this seat until I have to climb off it like, woah [Post-Chorus] I head towards dance floor Like a cha, cha, cha And this world ain't making me scared no more Like a cha, cha, cha When champagne all over myself I pour [Bridge] Cha, cha, cha, one eye keeps turning crossed too far And talking is so hard when this different side of me does its part Cha, cha, cha, I don't usually go and drop my guard, not me But now I am that guy, now I am that guy [Post-Chorus] I head towards dance floor Like a cha, cha, cha And this world ain't making me scared no more Like a cha, cha, cha When champagne all over myself I pour Like a cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, aha Like a cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha Cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha, cha
I love watching Cha Cha Cha reactions because there's always the first two seconds where people just stare in confusion 😂I was exactly the same when I first watched the MV.
I LOVE this song and the DANCERS. ❤🇫🇮 I take that the ring and "evil dancers" represent fight with alcohol as the lyrics are about drinking and then feeling free.
Germany would have had such a great song last year with Electric Callboy - We Got The Moves, but the NDR (responsible broadcaster) said that the song "is not radioworthy enough". What madness.
I love the song as a whole. It tells a story. Shy Finnish guy turns into a blooming party guy. I love his singing also. For me it doesn't sound like "a child song" hahahh I fucking party hard to that shit!!! Good reaction
I do love Rock, Rap and heavy metal!Makes my legs move! Normal ballad wont make effect. Im still like Chachachaaa!!✨ I am Finn 🤭. Ballad i think makes people just be like : what was that again..can be easily messed with others country songs.
I love this song, most finnish people are really against that we send a song with our own language. But this is the kind of genre/style that we dont almost have in our country so people have really mixed feelings about this 😂 But yeah I personally love this song
