The day we’ve all been waiting for is here; after busting our butts to remove the old 454ci Big-Block Chevy engine and three-speed automatic Turbo 400 transmission from my 1973 Chevrolet C30 ramp truck and replacing it with a hopped-up Cummins 12 Valve diesel engine and 47RH four-speed automatic transmission, we finally fired up the diesel and took it for a spin. So, how does the truck run?
Good question. Here is what I know after a brief test drive: it does hellacious four-wheel burnouts with minimal effort on the part of the Cummins. Thanks to the compound turbo kit from Powerdriven Diesel, the system is building 60-plus psi of boost and that translates into lots of torque. The boys are guesstimating about 650hp and 1,200 ft-lbs. At some point I’m going to have the truck weighed and tested on a local chassis dyno. If you haven’t seen episode 47 yet, take a few minutes to watch the swap happen and see how we fortified the top end of the Cummins by grooving the engine block for o-rings, installing new head gaskets, adding ARP head studs, replacing the valve springs, increasing the injector timing and fixing the dreaded death pin inside of the front cover. The engine is also backed by a modified 47RH transmission, which Powerdriven built in-house to withstand the punishment this behemoth tow rig will put it through.
Two awesome things are happening in this video; first off, I’m giving away $2,500 bucks worth of tools and supplies from Wirecare.com. The kit includes just about everything you need to wire and plumb your project car. Want a shot at winning? Leave a comment below. The contest ends at 12pm on August 24th. I’ll read through every comment and pick my favorite and then post a follow up video announcing the winner. This video will also show you the last few items we checked off the ‘ol To-Do List for the Ramp Truck, which included cutting and welding the longest stainless steel exhaust system ever. Using parts from StainlessHeaders.com, we constructed a free-flowing four-inch diameter stainless system that runs from the engine all the way over the axle and exits at the end of the 16ft long ramp. We also wrapped up the fuel system, built new battery cables and wrapped our down pipe in heat shield material. There’s still a lot of work to be done but we are getting closer to my goal of having a reliable and efficient towing machine.
If you’d like more info on any of the tools and products featured in this video then please subscribe to the following companies RU-vid channels and visit their websites at:

I am a 69 year old disabled veteran who has a 1969 Plymouth GTX that I have been working on now 4 years after cancer surgery. I really enjoy the roadkill series. Reminds me of time in the service, we took VW bugs and made them into dune buggies in south carolina. Now, the hardest part is that everything takes so much longer due to nerve injuries suffered at the Dallas VA hospital. You guys bring a much needed laugh to me when I am down. Keep up the antics.

I am a 17 year old gear head from a small farm town in Illinois. I have been a gear head for a while, but we havent had enough money to do anything but keep our daily cars running. Now I'm older and have a job, I've got a 79 Ford F-150 Ranger with a 302 that is soon to be a show/ daily hopefully, and I've got a 84 Mustang GLX lined up that needs pretty much a full resto, and a not as exciting '93 Camry that will be a family daily driver. This set would be a huuge blessing for my family. Either way, thank you for the multitude of hours of entertainment you have given my family

Army Vet here - 1947 KB-5 that I tore down in 1998 in my high-school shop class. I"m the second owner... It's for the original green-diamond flat 6. It just mint... minus the one tear from the wing mirror on the pass side from the barn that was falling down around it. I'm finally done with the military and have a shop to rebuild it. Not gonna be a show queen, going to be an updated survivor. Moving it over to 12volt, and would would use every part of that beast of a set over the coming months/year... what a beautiful way to do things right! Either way, keep up with the awesome guys! And yes, i'll roadtrip the thing when it's done to come visit!
@icecubes_for_the_boiling_frogs
My family has a tradition, on your 5th birthday you get a clapped out old car. Typically less than $1000. For the next 11 years you build the car, spending up to $1500 a year if you get grades. That way you have a cool car that you built yourself when you get your license. I have 3 children, all of which get good grades. They have an old mg midget that we pinto swapped (engine trans rear), a beetle beach cruiser, and my youngest just got his Chevy luv. The kids love your channel and are old roadkill freaks. They would flip if they got gear from the man himself.

We are a group of young men and women in Bergen in Norway building a 1970 Mercury Marquis. We are located in the local American Car Club. We would have been very thankful for getting this tools and equipment so that we can teach other young people how to fix, build and modify old classic cars. A good place for young people to be, instead of the football pitch or the basketball arena ;)

My Dad and I have been working together, building project cars together for years. Sometimes resorting to McGyver things like wiring and plumbing. These tools would make our projects a lot easier and professional looking. My dad is getting older and has just finished up on a 1936 Dodge Sedan streetrod. Thanks for the great content! You've encouraged me to start my own RU-vid channel.

He comes home in October and I cannot wait to hang out in his or my shop and drink some Yuenglings and work on my C10. Hey Mike, I’ve got a ’70 SS (clone) Camaro that’s been sitting for five years. She was my Dad’s car. He died when I was 13. I got her running in my early 20’s and had a blast driving her for a few years, but she’s needed more parts, time and money than I have to spare. Her 350, Muncie and 12 bolt are solid, but her wiring is a mess and almost all the hoses need replacing from sitting in the oven, um I mean my garage here in Florida. Dad used her to teach me to love wrenching and deal the “one problem after another” cycle that comes with keeping muscle cars alive. I dig that you show how to solve unexpected problems with creative thinking. Camaro’s got her share of duct tape, zip ties as well as a golf tee…I think there’s still a yogurt cup somewhere up under the dash! Fuel, air and spark, brother! Keep up the good work! Dan

Hey Mike, Currently I have a 1978 Trans am, in which my father and I rebuilt together for my first car when I was 13, We did a full frame off restoration, we did all the body work, all the wiring, all the engine work, and suspension ourselves. Because my father spent these 3 years with building a gorgeous car, our relationship is unbreakable. I still own this vehicle 16 years later and love driving it to this day. My 3 year old son loves going out and driving around in this car and loves to help work and do maintenance on this vehicle. I would love to get another project car to build with my son like father did with me, since my son loves everything about cars. This stuff would totally make wiring a breeze as even you know, wire is stressful and the right tools do make it so much easier with far less cuss words. Thank you even if you don’t choose me, love your videos, keep making them and my son and I will keep watching. One of these days I would love to meet you in person.

My 8 year old son Josh and I are building a 6.0 LS for my '77 Chevelle. We've got the engine together and we are ready to do the wiring. We are both huge Roadkill fans. The 305 that's currently in the Chevelle blew the upper radiator hose on a cruise a few weeks ago. Josh and I went to the closest parts store and got the stuff to get her going, just like Roadkill. He (we) had a blast. He (we) would be super stoked to wire and plumb the car with stuff from you. Thanks for doing real world stuff to obtainable cars, just like us. Its bringing in the next generation of car nuts.

I'm a big fan of your channel and Roadkill and just want to say such, and thanks for being so engaging with your audience, Mike. I've enjoyed watching you and Freiburger since day one of Roadkill, and my favorite part is that you haven't lost that connection to your "people" that most seem to lose when they get popular. To say that you, Roadkill, Hotrod Mag, and the entire car scene have made an impact on my life would be a massive understatement. So thanks for sharing what you do, and listening to us tell our stories. With that, I'm a broke ass college student in Iowa lol. I grew up on a farm, in a shop, working on trucks, tractors, cars, and just about anything that burns fuel and makes loud noises. I thought I wanted to take over the farm, but that led to diesel mechanics school, which led to a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at Iowa State. I'm a senior this year and will graduate in May and go on to work for John Deere in June. My project: 1931 Model A Tudor body, homemade frame, Speedway Motors axle and suspension components, Chevy 454/TH400 out of an '85 Suburban, and not much else yet. It'll look about like the Sailor Jerry Rum Rod (the car which, funny enough, actually got me into rat rods in the first place) Me and my dad's projects: 2 1949 Chevy pickups, one stock with a 216 inline six, the other on an '84 Chevy 3/4 4x4 frame, 454, 4 speed. Neither are finished. As well as half a dozen tractors that need restored, but that's another story. I don't need to win anything, It'd be sick if my comment got read though haha.

I'm a disabled vet with a 70 Chevelle in the garage. I've uploaded videos of me racing it to my channel and could use the f* out of those tools. I thought the tricky parts about these cars were going to be the engine and suspension, turns out that wiring is something of a work of miracles to understand. Or I'm just dumb.. i'm pretty sure it's the latter. Also, If anyone is reading this do you know how to shorten a throttle cable on a classic car? It's not so much the inner cable itself but the sleeve length is really long and messes with my throttle-age (that's a word right?). Thanks for your time.

Wow thanks everyone. You don't see many compliments in the comments section of youtube. I originally had a 396 with a 4 speed Muncie but no matter what I did with the timing and the gear ratio, I just couldn't get it the way I wanted (I think the 392 was out of a truck or something). So I put in a 502 with a 5 speed Tremec and we're cooking with gas now. Cheers. 101st Airborne 1-187 Rackasan! Ps I think the derelict middle aged man should get the tools. Howdy, I’m just an 18 year old kid who started watching road kill a year ago, your show inspired me to start working on cars, since then I have been able to learn either by figuring it out or watching RU-vid pretty much anything car related. Watching roadkill and hot rod garage and other shows like them gave me my inspiration and drive and now cars are my third love 1st has to be God 2nd is of course my family and lovely girlfriend. I just purchased my dream truck, a 1970 f250 and I would like to swap in a 351 to replace the 302 it has currently, money is always tight for a young guy like myself and these tools would be awesome. Hey there Finnegan, I am a 59 year old older guy that purchased a 1968 Toyota Landcruiser back in 1987 and through many years of heartache and injuries due to a major accident in 1991 I still have not finished my cruisers restoration, but now I am starting to get back into this poor girl and getting her going again, she has been sitting neglected for many years and those pieces of equipment that you are offering would be the most ultimate for redoing the whole wiring system that I also need to replace, and as you know it takes quite a bit of work to get this done, so I would really appreciate it if you take me into consideration for the prize that you are offering, and I really do appreciate the videos that you and freiburger put together with roadkill and the others, even the video that you guys made where you went to Australia, that was pretty cool. thank you and hopefully this truck turned out beautiful. bye for now. Hello Finnegan, want to start off by saying thanks for the great content on the channel and keep up the great work. Recently I bought a 1973 Ford Maverick, 302 with a c4 Trans. Now let me give you a little backstory. When my mother and step father first got married in 96, I was five at the time, they went the local junk yard and both pulled out a Maverick. Dad’s a 71 blue 2 door with an in-line six, mom’s a 72 yellow 4 door with a in-line six. Years went on and mom’s car returned to the junk yard after the drivetrain failed. Dad’s sat in the backyard motionless for many years after that until he finally sold. I’ve only seen him brought to tears 3 time in my life, when he’s parents passed, when Mom died, and when he sold that car. When Mom passed away in early 2017 I start looking for one of two cars. A 1971 Ford Torino Gt (mom’s favorite), or a Maverick. Well when I ran across the 73 for sale online I had to jump on it. I sold my very first car, my 1985 El Camino, took the money, jumped in the truck and drove the 2 1/2 hours to get the thing. It has problems, wires hanging out from all edges of the dash and under the hood. It needs help, but I want to get it up and running again to give it to Dad, as a memory to Mom and thank you for everything he’s done over the years. Thanks for your time and have a great day.

I have a 1950 ford f-1 that I have basically been doing the "keep it safe to drive" thing since 1976 (I was 9 at the time). My dad and I swapped the flathead and granny 4 speed out for a 200 six and c4 auto out of a wrecked fairmont in 1995.Before that we had a string of bad luck with 3 flathead engines - all of them cracked the valveguides. I was hoping to get to restificating it before my Dad succumbed to ALS but had no time/money. Having these items would be a great jumpstart to actually working on the restification rather than just keeping it on the road. This would be a great homage to my dad and also to my stepson who passed away just before my dad. He was the one who dubbed my truck "the green beast". Thanks for the great episodes :)

I dont want his to be another sob story, but I have a 1955 (.1) chevy pickup truck thats been in my family for 63 years. It was bought new in 1955 by my Great grandpa. 50 years later and 3 generations now its mine. Ive been working on this truck for 10 years now (I'm 23 ) It started off as just a hobby but quickly grew into a passion. I went from knowing nothing about the little 235 I6 in the truck to swapping in a home built twin turbo LS 4.8 motor. This truck fueled my passion for everything automotive and led me to follow people like you, roadkill, etc. in march of 2017 my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer (Yeah dudes can get it too) So far he's outlived his expected time of 3 months and celebrated his 1 year diagnosis anniversary. At this point all i want is to finish this truck and be able to give him a ride before i lose him . Im 80% there on the functionality side of the house, it runs, but i have to tie up loose ends before i give it a shake down run. I can't say that i absolutely need the kit to finish my truck but it will definitely help. I just wanted a chance to share this story with you, and anyone else here. Its just proof that if you put your mind to it you can do anything. Thanks for Listening Mike, and thanks for inspiring a new generation of hot rodders. Incase you or anyone else wants to check it out, click my profile pic and watch the video on my channel.

analog56x they make stand alone computers for most dodge transmissions and it's much simpler. If you don't want to go that route I have a refurbished computer and and a good wiring harness out of a 97 ram 3500 fits an 47re
@analog56x
@analog56x 6 лет назад
adam hiatt I finished watching the video, and Finnegan used a compushift. They are reasonably priced. Just for poops and giggles, what would you want for your ecm and harness?
@analog56x
@analog56x 6 лет назад
dang, just re-read the compushift... its 47rh, not re... all i can get my hands on, cost effectively, if the 47re... rh's are stupid hard to find here, even a rebuildable core is nearly impossible to find...
@fatboyssuperfasttimesatred8191
I would take $500 it's still in the truck not hacked up comes with every bit of it from the engine to the transmission I'm going to pull the old body off use the running gear and set possibly an old chevy or ford coe over the top of it so I can have a late model running gear.
@analog56x
@analog56x 6 лет назад
adam hiatt oh nice. I'm guessing you want 500usd? So that's like 800cad haha! If I can't figure something out by the time I get to that point, I'll hit you up. I still gotta convert the trans from 4x4 to 2wd, as well as rebuild it haha. The 47rh is stupid hard to find, and finding a 2wd 47rh is near impossible :(

Without roadkill, Finnegan’s Garage, and the general idea that a car doesn’t need to be perfect to be cool/fun, I would have never bought my first project car. Last year I bought my 70 satellite, then cannonballed to make it just good enough to drive down 400miles to roadkill nights. Somehow we made it there and back..with no turn signals and questionable wiring. Long story short, my girlfriend is getting sick of being my right turn signal.. So planning on rewriting it this winter and could use all the help I could get! Keep on doing what you do and inspiring people to start projects/adventures they’ll be proud of and will never forget.

I have a 92 doge Dakota I've been working on again now, some fresh tools would really help with getting me back in the rhythm of things. my plan is to put a 2Jz-Gte motor and trans in it. the 92 Dakota is in amazing condition and it a perfect project for me to get going on an sell since I haven't worked in a while and could use the cash . love all your videos. you really have taught me a lot. thank you.

At 12 years old I got a rusty old 81 Silverado, my dream truck. After spending 5 years and tons of money in body work all new suspension and rebuilding the 305 in it I decided to build a big block. After finally feeling like I act got somewhere with the truck and building an 454 from the oil pan up I flip it just a month after. Now I got my hands on a junkyard c10 mostly complete and all original I am going to try to swap a 6.2 t-5 combo. And all those tools would make my life a whole lot easier to get this truck going for my last year of high school.

I have a 1966 Ford Thunderbird that has a lot of sentimental value but needs a little love. My dad bought this car when I was 11 or 12. I learned how to work on cars by helping my dad on this car. We pulled the motor and trans, did body and interior work and even painted the car in our garage. During my 20's I regularly talked to my dad about buying the car from him but I either didn't have the money or the space. One day when I was 31 or 32, I got an email from my dad letting me know that he sold the T-Bird. For the next 5 years I searched for the car and finally found it for sale. I bought it and had it shipped to my house. The car still had several notes in the center console and trunk in my dad's handwriting. During those 5 years the car had been neglected with several parts removed and rodent damage to much of the engine wiring. I've been slowly working on getting it back on the road for several years and think these tools would go a long way to making that dream come true.

It all started at the ripe young age of 20 when I bought my first car...a clapped out 1996 subaru outback with all 4 wheels in the grave. Against everyones better judgement I have turned a wrench on just about every bolt on the car. It is the car that taught me everything I know. It is my truck, it is my race car (yes I track it on winter heavy all seasons), it is the gift that keeps giving (by that I mean I keep buying gifts for it). I am on to new projects now but still work on the old 96. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and the 1's and 0's get me going just as much as my clapped out 96 outback. I modify just about everything from cars to clothes. I am never satisfied with out something is sold stock. I am a glutton for punishment in the name of wrenching, dancing with the magical electronic pixies and everything in between. The tools and supplies would be used on projects of my own and for friends projects because what are kick ass tools if not to share and show them off and make friends jealous while you fix their pile of junk...a few beers in hand.

Currently building a mini truck (1999 ford ranger) with a 6.0 Ls (I know original idea right?) but all a budget build. Bought the truck from my dad when I was 13 for 1,100 and the Ls is out of a 2002 work truck that was used in my grandpas company. It was stolen and taken for a joyride and the truck is trash and trans is burnt up. The motor blew a head gasket when they got it stuck. Took the motor apart and the engine is fine except for a little bit of rust (truck was stolen back in 2010) my ranger was my first truck and had a 5 speed and planning on keeping it manual although I don’t have a trans yet for the new motor. I weighed my ranger and it weighs 2,780 as it currently sits but with the new motor hoping to make a reliable daily with around 480hp when I’m done and keep it like that for a bit but with a Ls you know you have plenty of options in the future to up that if u want. But yeah that’s my build. A 19 year old from Canada trying to build up his first truck to have some fun and a cool daily instead of buying a new vehicle (Would appreciate some opinions or recommendations on parts/what could do and would greatly appreciate those tools so I could build my own harness and lines)

Man that heat gun would really help drying my mullet every morning before I hop in my el Camino. In my garage I have a 1984 el Camino which was my first car and have owned since I was 15. My dad and I slowly started fixing up the car. We started with making the interior nice, with new headliner, new carpet and door panels. Then we moved onto the motor. We replaced the water pump, intake manifold and carb. My dad taught me how to work on cars and the love hate relationship you can have with them. My wife and I had our first date in this car 8 years ago. She fell in love with older cars ever since that first date. Sadly while in college I pulled out in front of someone and got t boned. The car was then put on the back burner and was parked at my parents house for a few years. What got me motivated to start working on the car again was my wife. Before we got married she told me that she really wanted to drive away from our wedding in the car. So the body work began and I started replacing the quarter panel and getting ready to paint it. The love immediately came back for the car and the memories with my wife. I have been slowly chipping away at the car buying parts when we have extra money. I started with cleaning up the interior, then onto putting a posi rear end in the car. Then I decided that I needed to replace every bushing on the car. Which then made me decide I want to lower the car. Which made me decide I need to rebuild the whole front end of the car. Now I am at the point where I want to do a ls swap in the car. These tools would be perfect for getting all of the harness squared away for the swap. The project is at a stand still at the moment because my wife and I had a baby boy 7 months ago. Sadly my wife and I shortly realized that an el Camino isn’t a great car to take the family out on a nice weekend. So we are on the hunt right now for a hot rod with a back seat.Our family is hopefully going to grow even bigger in the next few years. I would love to pass on the love and knowledge of working on older cars to my growing family like my dad did to my brother and I. These tools will help ensure that on our current and future projects the wiring will be done right and done with great quality tools. Plus mine and my kids mullet will be dry every morning.

I have had it since I was 16 at which time I had the motor rebuilt and I drove it for 2 years during high school. It has basically been sitting for 15 years in my parents barn. My grandfather, who is now 89, got diagnosed with Parkinson a year ago. I am planning on getting this to a daily driver status so that my grandfather can see it on the road again.

Mostly do to funds and starting a family I keep putting it on the back burner. The car was originally my brother's. I've wanted the car since the day he brought it home. When he moved to accept a job so that he could support his family, he gifted me the car. I'm finally at the point of needing to wire the car and I have nothing for the interior, just an engine harness. I'll be starting from scratch and this kit would be a huge help.

I've got a 1989 K5 Blazer that was the last thing my grandmother gave me before she passed. I've been through so much to save this poor old Northeast truck, including welding on quarter panels and a floor to fight cancer, buy a re-manufactured longblock and have it swapped, then while driving it across the country to California, rebuilt the rear end and the transmission because they detonated in the hills of West Virginia... It's never idled correctly since it sat for about 4 years between the body work and the engine and fuel system replacement. The electronics on this truck is the last thing I need to go over to get the truck running correctly. I've replaced sensors and individual wires, but I'm at the point where I just want to rewire the entire truck. I've poured unholy amounts of money into this project and it sits in a dirt lot in Los Angeles unused because it won't pass smog if it stalls. It's been unused for about 3 years now and I want to enjoy this truck like my grandmother always intended. It's going to be a product of my sweat, blood, and tears, and one day (if I'm lucky enough to have one) it will go to my kid. The truck is named Sherman the Tank. I named him that because of my dog who came with the name General Patton. I wanted this to be our truck to cruise around in. Patton passed away without ever being able to take more than a couple of rides in it with me since it was always in major need of more work. It's so close to being driveable, and it kills me that it still sits after all this time. This set of gear would let me wire the truck up fresh the right way and drive my K5 with pride.

I'm 22 years old and I have a 1931 Ford Model A tudor hotrod. It's got a 3.5 inch chop, 327 SBC, Mustang II front suspension, Ford 9" rear. My father and I got it when I was 11 by trading my ATV and he added some money. We took it to shows for a decade until it just needed to be restored. Last winter on an absolute shoe string budget that I saved up by working and selling my car, I hired a guy to strip it, redo the body work, and paint it. 5 months later with all my money gone, my car was in pieces, mostly bare metal with a little bit of body work done. Most of what was done was because I kept coming to help and doing the work myself. It was evident he wasn't going to do much more work on it so I decide that I would just do it myself and I am. So far I have done 80% of the body work on the body itself including; shaving the old cowl tank, as well as the rear vertical body lines and carried the side body line above the doors. I did all the welding myself too! It looks a lot like a 1932 Ford now. I've also got a new '32 grille shell, new radiator, new radiator hoses, 1 piece hood top, '32 Chevy style 3 door hood sides, a lot of new chrome, '32 tank, new manual steering rack, full tune up, and I also removed all of the old fire hazard home made wiring harness. I plan on fully rewiring it myself as well and have been doing extensive research on what the best products are and to be given that kit would just be amazing and truly let me do it the right way. In a month I will turn 23. I'm really hoping to be able to get the hotrod back on the road for next summer. This has been the first year without it and I miss it so much. At this point the hotrod has been in my life longer than it hasn't. I will never sell it.

Hey Mike, my name is Tom, I'm 22, I am in the Navy stationed in Pearl Harbor on a fast attack submarine and I just bought my dream car. It is a beautiful 2002 BMW z3 coupe and I know it's no hot rod, but what it is is a tiny car with a huge engine, the definition of a muscle car. What it does have are some electrical issues unfortunately, and what I don't have are the right tools for the job. I work incredibly long hours on the sub as a mechanic for the nuclear reactor and steam plant onboard her so the little time I have off I spend it watching Roadkill, watching your channel, and wrenching on my car and motorcycles. I have learned a ton from watching you and Freiburger with theory-to-practice zip tie and duct tape masterpieces, but I would love to spend the time and effort to fix this old bimmer up the right way. A gearhead's pride and joy is his garage and right now mine is severely lacking. Those tools would definitely be put to good use and while I am underway on nuclear power doing God's work, I promise that those safety wire pliers will definitely come with me and get a lot of use. If I don't make the cut however, I am sure whoever you choose to give those tools to will surely use them well (and have absolutely no idea how good of a tool those safety wire pliers are...)

Love it brother and keep the products coming.

Just saw my first episode of Finnegan's garage and loved it. The tools you are giving away would really help me get my at home Fab shop going. I've been a metal fabricator my whole life but due to an injury I can't work in a shop anymore. The tools would help me keep doing what I love to do

I'm just a kid straight out of college trying to build my old 1999 single cab gmc into a drag truck with an LSX behind it. Just trying to get all my essentials right now and this kit would be an amazing start to my progression. Thanks for the oportunity Finnegan!

I’ve got a 1963 international c12004x4 that can use all the love it can get. I’m in the middle of rebuilding the motor and then it’s off to the wiring. Keep up the good work. Your show is awesome.

Dude, I've got this Amazing 1972 Cutlass supreme. Nobody else agrees. I named it MOLDIE SLOB. Because I rearranged the letters for Oldsmobile on the trunk. .The thing has Rust and dents and "Custom" interior. I pulled the seats out of a Dodge neon. I thought I wanted to restore it but I've fallen in love with it Ugly. so I've just started Using Rust converter and painting it. Leaving dents and holes and uneven panels. The engine is great the problem I have is literally every wire on the thing is Starting to crumble at the casings. I've been replacing things that are needed for it to run. or to keep the headlights on. I love my car. She'll stay Ugly I promis but I intend to keep it around for a long long time. and It's going to take a lot of wiring work. That's one thing I'd love to do the right way. We'll let the Haters Hate. The A body cutlass has been a life long dream car. I got the only one I could afford and I am so happy that I had to get a beat up one. Because I have fallen in love with my car in a way I would have never expected.

@@ianbarber311 didn't you watch the engine masters episode? Flipping the lid does add power. Well... maybe not in a 74 hyper restricted 350.

I have a 81 Buick Regal I’ve been trying to fix for years .... I recently lost my dad and it was one of his favorite cars ... it’s been sitting in the field for 3 years and I’m finally getting the balls to get it back in the garage to get it running .. might take me some time but would be nice to ad some good tools like that to get the job done .... I’m not needing a pity party but would be nice ! To get some nice stuff to get the job done 👍🏻👍🏻 !you can also watch my videos on my channel ... where I’ve talked about it and the loss of my vision in my right eye ... it’s been a rough few years but I have hope things will get better !

You should do a fan build Finnegan! It would be rad to drag the Regal out and do a quick 1-2 day build Roadkill/Finnegan's Garage style and deliver the tools in person. Ramp truck road trip?

Robert Carron I honestly thought about that ... I’ll be honest I’ve been on a leave of absence from work and paying mortgages and having very little funds ... it’s what has kept me from actually pulling it out and just dragging it into the garage but the more I think of it the more I want to do it .. there’s a story about the cars I have sitting in a field and I might do a video ... I’m a big fan of roadkill ... thank you messaging me .. if you want I can make a video and get into detail ... thank you again for even reading and commenting

Robert Carron id even get the regal out the garage and get them over here to do a episode if I could lol I’d like to build this regal in a roadkill style and maybe a resto mod style....IT isn’t the ideal roadkill car but it’s been my baby and every time it’s sat for years during some bad times I could go back anytime and fire her up and she would take off !

I'm working on a 1963 Chevy Biscayne ,that I'm putting a 5.3 LS truck engine in.I'm going to rewire the whole thing.I'm 56 years old, disabled and need to spend my time doing this to help block out the pain I'm in everyday.If I stay busy I forget about the pain.I refuse to take pain med's,because I have seen too many people I know that are hooked on them,or go to illegal drugs to help with pain,and most of them have died from it.Thank you for the chance to win.

My father has a high speed road race car that he never finished throughout my life. I have memories through my childhood and into being an adult helping him. I am now 29 years old. It recently has been given to me to finish the project; is a 1986 Pontiac Trans Am. 355 short block with Trick Flow heads 700R4 beefed up 12 bolt rear with Wattslink Front runner billet accessory drive with Air conditioning Roll cage and sub frame connectors This would really help me dial in the project and bring my father's dream back to life. Thank you for sharing Finnegan!

Finally getting around to building my wife 1940 Ford Tudor Sedan. I started this project over 14 years ago and it's been hauled around to 2 different states and three different home, all in pieces. After much discussion, got motivated a month ago, took the body off the frame, blew frame apart and had it sand blasted and painted. Took me 3 weeks to get the frame resembled, with brake lines, fuel tank,front and rear suspension... Getting to the point to plumbing the fuel system and set engine/transmission on frame. The give away would be a boon for me to get this project on-the-road. Happy wife, happy life.

I could really use this whole setup. I'm in the process of restoring a 1986 toyota pickup that my grandfather bought new in 86. After he passed away 10 years ago my father drove it for several years until it was undriveable because of rust and other mechanical failures. It has sat last 4 years out in the weather. The mice and weather have really beat this things down. My father's health has been going downhill in the last year or so and I'd like to get this thing back to it's former glory while he's still here to see it. He doesn't know I've been working on it and I'm going to make it a surprise for him.
