Fire in the Hole, the first indoor roller coaster ever built, has been a cult favorite of riders for 52 years. It’s a strange ride, based on an Ozarks vigilante group that existed in the Ozarks for a mere two years. The ride is being reimagined by Silver Dollar City, who are rebuilding it in the Fireman’s Landing area of the park. Fans were given one year to say goodbye to the original and I had to document it. I personally have been riding this ride for 30 years. But I also give you some history of the park itself and the actual Bald Knobbers group that inspired the ride. Have fun!
