Madame Morbid is a history vlog featuring gangsters, true crime, disasters, and basically any historic subject I find interesting. Almost every episode will cover the stories of people who are dead. History is pretty much the study of the actions of dead people or how events affected those who came before. Please subscribe, leave comments and discussion on your favorite videos and share with your friends. Thanks for visiting my channel! I hope you enjoy it.
If it makes you feel any better, JTR could have easily strangled his victims from behind, not having to look them in the eye. I think it's almost certain that he did cut them after they were dead.
it takes lots of guts to show professionalism in such critical situations. She has shown great courage and left inspiration for generations to be followed.Betty Ong her coworkers among all those passengers, people in twins towers who has been victims of this terrifying genocide may God Rest their soul in peace ! God bless their families always.🙏
Bonnie and Clyde were pretty lookin' people But I can tell you people, they were the devil's children Bonnie and Clyde began their evil doin' One lazy afternoon down Savannah way They went and robbed a store, and high-tailed outa that town Got clean away in a stolen car And waited till the heat died down Bonnie and Clyde advanced their reputation And made the graduation into the banking business "Reach for the sky", talking Clyde would holler As Bonnie loaded dollars in the dewlap bag Now one brave man-he tried to take 'em alone They left him lying in a pool of blood And laughed about it all the way home Bonnie and Clyde got to be public enemy number one Running and hiding from every American lawman's gun They used to laugh about dying But deep inside 'em they knew That pretty soon they'd be lying Beneath the ground together Pushing up daisies to welcome the sun and the morning dew Acting upon reliable information A federal deputation laid a deadly ambush When Bonnie and Clyde came walking in the sunshine A half a dozen carbines opened up on them Bonnie and Clyde, they lived a lot together And finally together they died (song by Georgie Fame, 1968)
There are so many stories out there about this incident. I do not now nor will I ever believe that story happened or went down as told, by many. It makes Bonnie and Clyde look worse which is exactly what they wanted to do at the time. You’re right, Bonnie had that huge acid burn, almost to the bone, no way she put 2 in that cop, or one… as he laid on the gravel rd…check out Clyde’s buddy who absolutely shot first, Clyde wanted to take one or both with them, but release them as they’d done before, many miles away. Not kill them….ppl can say what they want, I really could NOT care less…I do not side with the cops today or 70 years ago, seen too much and a couple personal experiences. They’ll look you in the eyes and lie like a cheap rug. Add to that, at the times, basically everybody was living hand to mouth, thanks to stock market crash causing the Great Depression, while others lived in opulence. WHO paid the price of veiny homeless, no food for their children, no roof over the heads, in a situation they had nothing to do with. No, I’m sorry innocent ppl lost their lives, but I refuse to put all that murdering on B&C, period. Just my opinion.
Lynn & David Angell, such a dear wonderful couple. David, his work with TV shows such as "Cheers", "Frasier", "Wings". Lynn had some timeless charitable work, too, which continues. Their photo is in my wallet & heart. Bless their souls.
I believe if Satchel Page were allowed to play his entire career in the Majors, it might be called the Satchel Page Award instead of the Cy Young Award.
@@sharons4439 because no one ever said that. He called himself Buddy Barrow, introduced himself as Buddy Barrow, and referred to L.C. as his father. He loved him, raised him his whole life, and whether he was a “step” doesn’t seem to matter to Buddy. L.C. was his dad.
@@sharons4439 that simply isn’t true. He had minor brushes with the law, it’s true, though never for anything violent. His obituary mentions two “brief” stints in jail, one in the 30s and another in the 50s. Mostly he had a normal life living quietly as a truck driver.
@@MMorbid , yes , the obituary does say that . But his records of being in prison in Texas and California tells the story. I like all of our history, the bad and the good . But when I see someone pretending, with even using a false name , I have a problem with that . I don't think they'll ever get her grave moved for many reasons. Billie Jean had her grave moved to where it is now . And have you ever seen where Clyde is buried? It's a very unkept cemetery. For the ones that wonder why they're having problems, there's plenty of reasons. She's already been buried twice by family members that actually knew her . Her mother, then again by her sister.
The first victim mentioned… the youngest one… her lifeline has her living til “2021”. Just fyi. This video is beautifully done. Thank you for your homage to these beautiful souls.
Of all the names that day… Betty Ong is the main name I remember. Her information was the first eyes and ears to what was going on. Every time I fly, I can’t help but think of her and all those that died that day. I am grateful for their bravery and providing others with details that may not have been known without their contributions. May all those souls rest in peace 🕊️😢
Hey there ❤ I’m from Platte County and recently learned that my neighbors dad was the Dr that operated on Blanches eyes after this shootout! His name was Dr. Silas Durham!
I live in Maryland and obviously we don't get tornadoes hardly at all. Let alone a supreme F5 tornado but for some reason I feel drawn to this one and I have cried for the victims.
Thank you so much for making this wonderful video! Even after all these years since 9/11, I found myself in tears listening and learning about all these people's stories. I'm a retired police officer from LAPD Los Angeles Police Department, and I had just recently retired when 9/11 happened. It still feels as if it happened last year to me. After watching so many 9/11 videos in the past, your video is the only one that took the time to report and detail the lives of many of the victims on the planes involved. I'm so proud of you and of your detailed work! Kudos to you, young lady! 👏 It's finally about time that someone "you" took the initiative to show the very personal stories of these victims of 9/11. Good luck to you, and God bless you always 🙏 😊 ❤️
I’ll take the word of the former players (Babe Ruth, Bob Feller, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, Dizzy Dean, Buck O’Neil) that played with him and against him in his prime. He was denied the chance to play in the majors during his prime. I don’t consider any baseball before 1947 as a true barometer of the game.
@@AlienObserver-wi2pb So basically what you’re saying is, baseball before 1947, without all the best players being allowed to play, was a true depiction of the sport. Babe Ruth, Bob Feller, Dizzy Dean, and Ted Williams all went on barnstorming tours with Paige. To a man they repeatedly said he was the best pitcher they’d faced. Willie Mays and Buck O’Neil played with and against Paige. Jackie Robinson was quoted saying he thought Paige would’ve been a better choice to be the 1st to break the color barrier because he was the best, by far in the Negro League. He said Paige would’ve embarrassed a lot players. BTW, all those pitchers you mentioned, played most of their careers during the “Deadball” era. Do you know what the deadball era was? Everything you wrote has zero credibility.
I remember the time and the talking about him. I remember my Mother telling my Father to stop giving hitch-hikers a ride. The narrator used the word "cock eyed" about his appearance. I remember a neighbor saying the law was afraid to catch him as his "cock eye" stayed open as he slept. It was common practice to give rides to hitch-hikers. Many people remembered the Depression and WWII soldiers needing rides home on leave. I remember his execution . No lollygagging about for 20 years worrying about a "fair trial" over a misplace comma or technicality back then.
It very sad we will never know how great satchel Paige didn't pitch against major league baseball hitter& league in his prime, same story with josh Gibson, josh Gibson against bob feller, lefty groove lefty gomez carl hubbell, etc etc
Bonnie and clyde never killed anyone unless they were shot at first clyde try to get a job after eastham and cops would not let him to me they were decent people who got a bad hand and said fuck u to authority and I love them for that love u bonnie and clyde fuckin legends 👌🙌🤗
He was not the best. It cannot be proven he was. There is not enough evidence to back it up. You gotta select the ones who proved just how great they were.
And why can’t it be proven? RACISM. You throw out his career before the MLB, sure, he’s not the best. He played from 42 to 46 years old. I am 42 right now. Two nights ago I woke up with a bum neck from sleeping wrong. In the world of professional sports the 40s is geriatric. I am not a sports expert, I honestly don’t even like sports. I am literally just reporting what many experts who DO study this believe. Type in (best pitcher of all time including negro leagues) and see what pops up. It’s not an outrageous claim, and seems to be pretty mainstream among baseball historians. Racism is the only reason this can’t be proven beyond a doubt and that’s not okay. The world was robbed of seeing what Satch was capable of. What a travesty of justice. BTW lots of math was used , so there is data, it’s just not MLB. He also pretty much pitched every single day. That seemed to be a major factor in many experts thinking he may have been the best. That’s darn near super human (apparently). Anyway, there’s tons of documentaries about him, the negro leagues, and biographies that make these arguments. Check them out and judge for yourself. I was focused more on his life than the math and numbers they threw around. Either way he was one fascinating and likable guy and we were all deprived of seeing what he could have done.
@@MMorbid Racism? Are you serious? They did not keep accurate statistics of anything they did. They also played in highschool stadiums and makeshift ballparks against minor league pitching. Get real
@@Grizzlied555 he wasn’t allowed in the Majors because he was black and you don’t think racism is involved? If anyone needs to get real it’s you and I’m getting a bit of a vibe from you that isn’t welcome on my channel.
@@MMorbidThe negro leagues allowed no one but themselves to play. Neither did the Cuban Leagues, or the Japanese leagues. The Dominican Rebuplic league of today allows no one in but themselves. If one is racist, they are all racist. But, I was saying nothing Satchel Paige did can be backed up by any accurate stats. It cannot be proven. Racism holds no bearing on whether they kept accurate stats. They didn't. I am not interested in heresay.
Thank you, I really enjoyed making this episode. I loved learning about him and he seemed like a genuinely good person who was probably fun to hang out with.
The Airlines banked on the insurance payment. You know those planes had insurance. The company who owned the towers banked on insurance payment when the towers fell
