The opening raised alot of questions that were answered just as fast. At first, I thought Immortal and Invincible were training. But then him and Omniman killed him, so I thought it was a dream but then realized it was one of many Dimensions.

That version of angstrom from the start wasnt the one with the ability, you can see that one from the start in the same scenes as the one with the ability, though with all their memories merged into the one with the ability, all the hatred for invincible that one had, is now in the main one

I feel so unbelievably bad for Mark and Debbie, I’ve never wanted to give 2 characters a hug this badly. For Mark it’s not just his father but his hero, for Debbie it’s the love of her life and the father of her child. Also, learning that according to Angstrom Levy, in most universes Invincible actually joins Omni-Man and conquers earth is actually terrifying. Especially after seeing how in the first alternate universe we saw Mark becomes as much of a cold blooded sociopath as Nolan.

To be fair, I don't think Nolan quite qualifies as a sociopath. He does a lot of reprehensible stuff, but he has a lot of complex traits that counterindicate sociopathy.

@@ConnellxSilverfur the difference between psychopaths and sociopaths is that sociopaths are capable of learning to feel empathy or sympathy. Psychopaths are completely incapable.

You almost got it Mary 👍 Angstrom 646 is a normal guy, who Angstrom 1 portals out (possibly without realizing how close to death he was). He's the one in the grey hoodie looking scared when the 'family' is introduced, and his trauma at the hands of 646 Mark & Nolan drives big brain Angstrom insane. He's gonna be an interesting nemesis this season.

Angstrom is my favorite villain from the comics. He debuted back in 2004. Even though everyone is doing the multiverse right now, it would be a huge disservice to the story not to include it.

It's funny that in the comic he doesn't care that Nolan is dangerous and that as soon as Mark recovers he immediately entrusts him with the role of Omniman's replacement. here instead he feels guilty. I hope they didn't change the character

Nice reaction, Mary! Good to see you're keeping up with the show. Does anyone else notice that the characters' pupils are bigger than they were in the previous episodes? Like close to anime big? The animation may be a little less fluid, too. Other than that, no real complaints. Story's progressing very nicely, and thankfully, Rex's asshole qualities seem to be toned down so far. Angstrom is definitely gonna be a problem for the heroes, too.

Yup. Definitely something changed with the animation. It's not just the eyes, there seems to be inconsistencies in the face designs/structure too, enough to bring me out of a scene or two. Love the show anyway but it's there for sure.

If you want some more good animated superhero stuff to watch I recommend the DCAU it's so good Batman: The Animated Series and Justice League Unlimited are a must watch they are peak superhero content only a handful of superhero projects are on the same level as those shows DC animation is on a different level

it is the original universe, they simply forgot to mention the detail that Donald is reconstructed as a cyborg, in the comic it is like that, they simply forgot to mention it in this first chapter

nope didnt read the comics and ive read that ye they can bring anyone back to live aka imortal but after he exploded there was nothing to bring back so i guess its possible he was been built as a cyborg i didnt think about that one but as i say there was nothing left after the explosion so even this theory is hard to get @@that.ll_do_pig
