Driving this thing will literally put a smile on anyone's face. I love it and can't wait to take it to the track this weekend. Thanks for watching everyone!!
Yeah hitting 12lbs without a tune is just silly, knock will wipe things out. But cool rig, that coolant temp if thats what it was on the display will affect startup, especially if it thinks its much colder, adding fuel to compensate. If its iat then it can also do similar things just not as drastic
It had a tune in it, but was just compensating 30% is some areas of the fuel table so wasn’t ideal. I agree silly, but hard to keep my foot out of it lol. I’m gonna look into my coolant sensor, that is a solid point there. Thanks man
@@Rev2lateRacing Check your units of measurement, might be set to Celsius. I’m pretty certain that if it’s not reading the sensor correctly it will be in cold start and warmup way to long. You can zero it out if u can’t get it working.
So the tune has played a big factor in that. Right now it’s running pretty clean and I can barely smell the fumes inside the car while driving. At idle isn’t any issue, but I think I’m going to fab up some pipes that go out in front of the wheels in the front fender. It would make it more quiet and enjoyable but we’ll see.
It seems like it is pretty Rich, mine acts stupid at low RPM, it surges and such. I can deal with a carb but the inj doesn't do what I want. I don't like it at all.
Nice ride man, i got a 68 catalina fastback i wanna twin turbo ls swap, that turbo noise on those rollers were just fuckin orgasmic, makes me even more excited for doing this build, wich ls are u using and what did you have to do to ot for it to handle the turbos, and how hard was it to fit the turbos in there, i wanna do mine below the hood to keep ot more of a stock sleeper look. Again my man sweet ass ride
I’m running a 6.0 lq4 out of a 2000 GMC truck. At first I was running stock lower end with some arp head studs then I messed the tune with e85 and spun a rod bearing lol so now it’s got a full forged rotating assembly for Texas speed
