I sent my computer out to mailordertuner.com and he sent me it back tuned and ready to go

Well I had the straight pipes before I did the motor work. And I didn’t really want to mess with long tubes but I needed headers because the stock manifold’s were in such bad condition. So I wanted to go with shortys for now so they’d just bolt right back up but I can easily Change that in the future

@@harleystillwell7519 yessir. 04 with the lq9. Cammed, ported/polished ls3 style heads, longtubes, 3200 stall convertor. Gonna do a fast 102 manifold later down the road. Should make 380-390 rwhp spinning truck tires thru an auto

I have 342s😂 and somehow it felt pretty normal in town except for on the interstate it won’t even go into 4th gear till you let off haha, so it just screams in 3rd

​@@harleystillwell7519 damn man that's gotta be rough, definitely get a set of gears in there soon. tall gears and big tires puts alot of stress on the trans

Stock heads just had them cleaned up and valves checked and new seals and springs to go with the cam. Stock 230k mile pistons

Yes it’s a built 4L65e with a shift kit, different servos and pretty much anything to make a 4l60 as strong as possible

I have a stack of receipts I’ve been planning to go through and make a video. But if I was to guess I’d say a little under 2k

Mine is just a monitor, around $300. The tuner is more like $600

It does a little bit, you can definitely tell it’s cammed. But I think my tune has the idle set way to high. It’s at like 850 rpm at red lights so no it doesn’t chop like it does in park

It does okay ish is all I’m gonna say. My truck has 3.42 gears which absolutely suck so going down the interstate it doesn’t want to just cruise in 4th gear with a trailer anymore. But I pull my 2,200 pound boat a couple times a week a short distance and it feels the same as it used too. The only noticeable difference is interstate cruising

@@harleystillwell7519 thanks for the reply I really appreciate it as I have the same gears. I don’t do alot of hwy towing but have a landscape company and do a lot of city towing. How is it in the city?

Totally fine in the city I would say you’re perfectly fine. Plenty of torque to get moving it just doesn’t like to cruise over 80 mph. You’ll get a lot of customers when they hear your truck chopping!

@@harleystillwell7519 awesome again I really appreciate ur feedback. it’s been hard to find a driving video of these cams. Stuck between this and the truck Norris cam,. They’re basically identical just slightly Different sounds. I also have a built trans with a stock converter like you so I’ll be good in that department. My truck has 280k with a lifter tick,. I’ve got a brand new short block 5.3 I just Got from machine shop. Going to just do a mild build looking for around 425ish! You gained a follower for sure,. Love Your truck and build 🤩
