A quick first look at the new M4 CS (Competition Sport) that was unveiled in the BMW CCA Car Corral at Laguna Seca this past Friday. One of the two special colors for the limited production M4 CS, the other being Riviera Blue.
Kinda loving the CS in frozen IOM green. But I’ve owned BMW’s for over 15 years, and have never cared for the look of the carbon fiber applications, ever more prominent across the brand. Please explain that/why (besides an ounce or two in weight reduction) is this BMW-wide attraction of what is obviously just shiny plastic parts, carbon fiber is visible, sure, but still just plastic. What am I missing??? Thank you.
Hey Kevin, Currently have several BMW’s to include a M3 CS, can you give any insight as to when allocations will be given? Would very much like an M4 CS. Thank You
who is Kevin? Allocations were given out early to mid April. Each dealer (US) got one each. They've already been configured and locked on May 3. They'll show up in the system probably in a few weeks.
Cool color, hideous car. I wouldn't be surprised if BMW found a way to make the Carbon Fiber hood heavier than stamped steel, because that's what they do now. Make cars heavier, and uglier. The new M2 is a shame...
