We take our first look at the latest Type S from Acura. The new Acura Integra Type S. We'll Review the information we know so far and talk about performance and pricing for this new hot model, The Integra Type S.
Integra Type S all day. The FL5 Type R is cool, but the DE5 Integra Type S will be far more readily available and won't be marked up like the FL5 Civic Type R. I am not about the track like the Type R. I'm all about street driving and daily driving and highway cruising. That's what the Integra Type S does for me.
honestly i have to say as a previous owner of a 2018 Type R i think the Acura is a much better looking car and a bit more sophisticated car. Im on the list at my local Acura dealer for one plus im getting one at MSRP with no mark up so its a win for me. I do like the new Type R but every dealer is marking it up anywhere from $10-25K which is ridiculous in my opinion. I didn't even pay that high a markup on my 22/ Shelby GT500 Heritage Edition CFTP!
@@CrookedMustache not yet. When they become available in June my dealer will get a demo and their allocations. I will most likely order mine the way i want. Im torn between the white with red interior or the blue with alpine interior.
Planning on ruining my credit to get that type s over the type r... Apex blue out, red interior... I don't think anyone who was crucifying Acura over the standard Acura will have much left to say about the type s. Of course ppl will complain it's not awd, no sunroof, it's a sedan... But I'm sure they did those things for pricing, marketability, and not to step on the tlx type s toes.
I think its gonna be the Corolla William, As of right now, press kits show only heated seats for the Type S, Knowing now that the Corolla (GR) comes with a heated wheel, makes me feel like the Type S could've had (which is a nice touch for colder climates) that or even power tilt wheel to add to the Acura lux. . Toyota did that with the Venza/Rav4, power vs manual column I mean
Ok, So i decided to keep a running tally of color options (small sample size but hey it counts). So far it seems Blue and White will outnumber Gold cars easily and the preferred interior is red Exterior Color White 3 Blue 2 Interior Color Black 1 White 1 Red 3 Combos Ext/int Blue/white 1 White/red 2 White/black 1 Blue/red 1
Nashville dealer states that Liquid Carbon ( gray) is their most popular color. They have five reserved as of last weekend. I have a red one reserved. Interior is black.
