I'm a Packer fan and I hate the Niners and Purdy - but it's because they are a good team and that is a really good QB. He played really well in this game, and you're right - he gave them a chance to win. Campbell with that DPI (one of the traits shown why GB let him go) actually came close to costing them the game.
My concern is with The Niners Defense! They still can't stop the run or get consistent pressure on the QB. If they don't fix these problems, they may not make the playoffs! You have to be able to get pressure on the QB and you have to be able to stop the run, if you want to beat the Elite Teams.
Brock could play KC in KC with No starts and throw for 400 plus yards throw 4 TDs and run for 2TDs No INTs have a perfect QBR and win by 28 and Nick would still say he played ok. Nick just doesn't like Brock some people are just like that unfortunately. Brock played great

Coming from a lifetime 49ers fan, all 49ers fans should absolutely be massively concerned. They were missing all of their key players on offense but their offense played well. Their defense was at next to full strength and were an absolute embarrassment to the NFL. The 49ers defense has been at risk of being exposed all of 2023 and they were just exposed now. People thought it was Wilkes but it turns out they just don't have the personnel to get it done. I'm calling it now that they will be lucky to find themselves in a .500 season and if they do, it will be because they have a top 3 offense carrying their bottom 10 defense. Also, it turns out Brock is just the best player on their team.
This is just a multi year long culmination of the 49ers haunted Defense not showing up when it needs to. With all the talent on that side of the ball the 49ers should legitimately have 2 rings right now but they gave up double digit 4 quarter leads multiple times.
