Many many women love the way Steve Perry looks. In fact, he was a major chick magnet; the crowds became very female and they used to throw roses at him..to the point where they were piled up to the top of the drum kit. Love his hair! His has a beautiful voice and is actually a good guy.

BESTIE!!!! Miss Ma’am!!! This was my very first concert!! I was in 3rd grade and my daddy was working security and took me with him!!! I got my hair did and thought I was THE ISH!!!! My 8yr old brain held onto every single moment of that night!!!! And Steve Perry has one of the most BEAUTIFUL voices I have ever to this day ever heard ❤

I saw Journey on this very tour. Escape is an amazing album and it was an amazing show. Loverboy opened up and they were phenomenal as well.

I was a Journey Freak! This is all my teenage years! K, this is 1981…home’s were just getting cable. HBO was the only syndicated station on Cable. And, Journey was the first to air a live concert on this HBO special - live from Houston! YES…Steve Perry aka The Voice will never be matched. The hardest working band of the 80’s…Touring and Recording non-stop for 10 straight years without a break.

Steve Perry's voice is just so amazing.. I'm so blessed to say I've seen him live several times... when Steve left the band .. the other guy was close.. saw him a few times too. . but never as good as Steve. My very first concert outside my Delaware State Fair was Journey.. I'm old it was 1983 in Philly I was 16... What a way to come out of the State Fair.. lol.. Journey ROCKED the Stage that night.

In the 70's I was an Elvis, Donny Osmond and Bee Gees gal. Then Journey with Steve Perry got added to the roster and lasted until Steve left the band.. Elvis is still #1 though even though he passed just a few months before I turned 16.

Journey are a solid rock band. Great musicianship and one of the best male vocalists in the business. Anyways, BF, you absolutely crack me up. I also love that you have been doing a real cross mix of different styles and sub genres of rock. Journey has many great songs. But try 'Mother, Father' - Live 1981 Houston...same concert. My first Journey album was their "Next" album. It was the one before Steve (vocals) joined. What a difference he made.
