Steve Wariner is an underrated singer and great guitar player as well! Holes In the Floor of Heaven, Where Did I Go Wrong, What I didn't Do, Life's Highway, and The Weekend are a few of his best songs. Thanks for the reaction!
His voice is one of my favorites! You would love his songs, "Tips of My Fingers", "Leave Him Out of This", "Holes in the Floor of Heaven", " Two Tear Drops". Now I have to go listen to all of these and more! His voice!!! 💗💗💗
OMG I am literally jumping up and down because you finally reacted to my favorite artist and song! I have such respect for your reactions and your love of country music, and it's an honor to introduce you to Steve. Yes, I owned this album and all of his albums. I love his voice -- you're right; it is very calming. He's also one hell of a guitar player. And a super nice guy. Choosing a song to recommend is like choosing between my children, because there are no bad songs from Steve, but I'll bet "Holes in the Floor of Heaven" will be a popular request (bring tissues). For his earlier stuff, "All Roads Lead to You" and "Kansas City Lights" are favorites. I hope to see you down this rabbit hole very soon! Thanks again for your reaction! ❤
Steve Wariner is on of my all time favorites. His songs, small town girl, the weekend, Lynda, life's highway, holes in the floor of heaven, what I didn't do, two tear drops and you can dream of my are go to everyday lol.
Steve Wariner is so nostalgic for me. I fell in love with his gift for a slick musical phrase turn with A Woman Loves, and stayed there for songs like this one, Two Teardrops, and Holes in the Floor of Heaven and countless more…
Craig, I STILL have this album! Spent many angsty nights drivin' and crying. Particular favorites are his collaboration with Glenn Campbell- The Hand that Rocks the Cradle, and What I Didn't Do. I met him once and he's as kind as you'd imagine.
Yayyy! I love Steve Wariner. Love his voice and he is an amazing guitarist. Check out also What I Didn’t Do and Holes In The Floor of Heaven. And yes I have that 80’s cover!! Definitely 80’s! I pulled this up just recently, hadn’t heard it in so long, and when I saw the cover again I had to laugh! There’s a live performance of Steve with Glen Campbell playing Galveston, one of Glen’s biggest hits. They’re two of the greatest guitarist and you owe it to yourself to listen. If you’re not familiar, Galveston was released in the late 60’s during the Vietnam war and has stood the test of time. It’s timeless and IMO it could be released and be a hit today. 🎶♥️♥️
Steve Wariner has some great songs. I think my two favorites are "Two Teardrops" and "Holes In The Floor of Heaven" Great reaction. There is something about his songs that are easy to forget about, but have it all coming back when you start to hear it.
The heart of country, right there!!! I was barely out of high school when I went to a concert where Steve Wariner was opening for Hank Williams, Jr. I wanted to see him more than Hank, although I love my Hank Jr., too! It was perfect country!!! Steve Noel Wariner...middle name Noel, because he was born on December 25th!
Steve Wariner is one of my all time favourite artist. Here are a few more from to check out from Steve….KANSAS CITY LIGHTS, YOUR MEMORY, BY NOW, LIFES HIGHWAY, LIKE A RIVER TO THE SEA, THE WEEKEND, just to name a few.
Steve Wariner is one of my favorites from the 80s and 90s, when IMO was the best country music. Other good songs of his, Life's Highway and Where did I go wrong. Thank you for reacting to old country, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
I haven't heard in years. I forgot how wonderful his voice. I remember seeing him at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. I have the album. He is a great singer. He had a string of popular songs in the late 80's early 90's. I haven't forgotten a word of this song.
Steve is one of my favorite artists for decades now. I also recommend Holes in the Floor of Heaven. He also has some great duets: Nothing But the Taillights (with Clint Black), What If I Said (with Anita Cochran), and Long Neck Bottle (with Garth Brooks).
I had the album in college. Steve has such a smooth voice. He's a fantastic guitar player, too. You should watch his performance of 'Galveston' with Glen Campbell
I'm so glad to see you react to Steve! He's not only a great singer, he is a wildly talented musician. Hope to see more. As other's have mentioned Holes In The Floor of Heaven would be a great one to react to. Bring tissue.
A fun song during this era is Why Goodbye, the video was funny. A song from early 2000s, he did a duet with Anita Cochran is, What If I Told You, What If I Said, very beautiful song. Hope you listen and enjoy
I had his little cassette in 1986. But I think this was the only song on the whole album that I ever listed to... And I listened to it hundreds of times. Thank you for finding it!
Steve Wariner had so many great songs as well. His voice is great and he is an awesome guitar player. Check out his guitar playing with Glen Campbell. He also had a version of Tips of My Fingers.
If you want a different side of Steve Warner check out the three songs he did with Garth Brooks 1. Katie Wants A Fast One , 2. Burn The Roadhouse Down , 3. Longneck Bottle , they are upbeat songs .
I haven't heard this in a very long time. Yes, the cover, melody and lyrics all scream the '80's., as well as his haircut and suit. 😁 It's a good song but to me not his best. Holes In The Floor Of Heaven is the best one that comes to my mind right now. It's a great next stop.
Steve Wariner is an amazing singer. Holes In The Floor Of Heaven is a song you must react to! Another great song is his duet with Garth Brooks Longneck Bottle.
It’s so silly…my heart is racing. Steve is one of the greatest songwriters and guitarist! I own all he’s done. His songs just pull you in, and the perfect-harmonies with his brother! “I should be with you” written in an airport to his wife. “Life’s Highway”… A marathon is warranted!
You like the same music I do , I used to listen to this song over and over , I knew that girl the song is about , or if it wasn’t her it was her identical twin. I heard she had a sister in Briton , have u ever met her ?
Three well maybe four or five. Lynda, The Domino Theory, The Tips of My Fingers, A Woman Loves, It won't be over you. Great songs you would love. Tips has background vocals from Vince Gill.
Please do a reaction to Steve's song Hole In The Floor of Heaven..I guarantee you won't be sorry you did..Also would you please do a reaction to John Michael Montgomery singing the song The Little Girl..That one will bring tears to your eyes..
