That whole curse thing now reminds me of that entire bit JelloApocalypse did in his RWBY video where Crowe complains about his 'curse' that gives him the power to turn into a bird, then mentions he can turn back whenever he wants to followed by Ruby saying 'I don't get it. That sounds exclusively beneficial.'
It’s funny, I never overly focused on the audience mechanic, but of course a streamer would be very affected by their attendance and interactions lolol You really need mods in this game’s theater
Paper Mario's quirky characters and worldbuilding is definitely one of the best things I love about the series! The unique voice blips for all of the characters and NPCs in the TTYD remake is just SO GOOD!! Definitely reminds me of Banjo-Kazooie-style character dialogue! 😄
its fine even i can rarely pull of a superguard i only try to get a regular one even that can be challenging cus of the different timings really enjoying your playthrough
If you haven't realized it yet, the robed individual who handed Peach the chest was Beldam in disguise. You wouldn't have known if you played the original game on GameCube, but thanks to the voice lines in dialogue, you can tell it's her now
Agreed. Even though I now prefer the remake for having so much polish with the presentation, there's still a tiny few things that original GC version that did better. All in all, you can't go absolutely wrong with either versions, they're indeed one of finest stories in any Mario games.
@-ak-634 correct. I think original had batter battle gameplay and a few of the missing dialogue moments from the original are sad to see absent. I also miss the more vocal audience from the original
"would people not see the bodies floating in the water?" one would assume if it's been long enough for the events to only be remembered a legend, it would have been long enough for the bodies to have decomposed/eaten by carnivorous sea life
This game made me simp for princess peach so I can’t blame TEC for simping too😭😂 “I should spit on your screen” 😩 and the way she described ‘love’, so innocent and pure and YES the ponytail was a SLAYY
Once you clear chapter 6, it's best to utilize danger mario. Stack up on BP, pinata tokens to stack up on power rush badges. Be sure to get those 2 badges to shield mario from spiked and fire enemies... and instead of using the pinata changer machine, play the tube game to rack up those tokens. Other key badges... multi bounce, power bounce, chill out. Max damage output is 99, making the pit of 100 trials and all bosses a cakewalk. I cleared the pit of 100 trials eight times in less than 90 minutes. Once you obtain the strange sack, fill up your inventory with 20 life mushrooms.
Ehh, this game isn't really hard enough to worry about optimal builds. I think telling someone who's doing a blind playthrough something like this is actively counterproductive. Not to mention that power bounce was actually nerfed in this version to be *way* harder to execute lots of hits.
