Charlotte and George are for sure my favorite Bridgerton couple. Their story is just so beautiful and heartbreaking. And knowing that the love story of the real Queen Charlotte and King George was very similar to what happened in the show (they met and married on the first day, fell in love, but George's mental illness became a constant obstacle) makes it even more sad🥺but i like how they ended it, showing that even though for the most part, George isn't there mentally, when he does come back briefly, the love between them never diminshed or stopped. It is still as strong as ever🥹💕
No one really mentions this but, i really appreciate how john was ready to tell Charlotte about sex before it happened. Cause remember, women didnt really know anything about sex until they were married and i like how George was going to educate charlotte if she didnt know before they actually did anything
The power of this story! The realities that love doesn’t always conquer all, or finding love doesn’t mean it will be happily ever after for the rest of your lives (Charlotte, Agatha, Brimsley, even Violet…they all lose the ones they love in different ways, to forces beyond anyone’s control,) but even having held on to real love and connection for however long they were able to still changes them for the better, making them stronger, their lives richer, with greater empathy and care for others. I think the theme of Bridgerton is that love-our families, our friends, our partners-is what gets us through the most harrowing tragedies of human existence. Love is the superpower, and being open to the pain and vulnerability necessary to experience it is a choice and an act of the greatest courage. And that love is treated with respect in the Bridgerton TV shows, not as a cheesy joke or shallow story. But asking “what is it to be human, together?” To forgive, to grow, to understand, because Love is what it’s all about, and what everyone is worthy of. ❤
Yesss you get it, India (Charlotte) and Corey (George) had the BEST chemistry (on screen AND off screen👀I recommend watching the pr interviews they did for this show) I honestly can't think of a single couple in a movie or show that matches their chemistry. It's why we're begging for a season 2 of Queen Charlotte it'll feel like a waste if we don't see them acting together again! They absolutely deserved all the acting awards they were amazing!
Actually no! He preceded *that George. He was the one to ban slavery in Britain and Queen Charlotte introduced the Christmas tree to England :) they also had 15 kids, shocking--13 only made it to adulthood which is still amazing odds honestly. I had to look it up cuz I thought the same thing, like "WAIT A MINUTE" I was shocked they could find a decent English king with a big family like that
This is why we were begging you to watch!! This was my favorite bridgerton season. I cried so much. It was beautifully written and acted. I'm so glad you enjoyed it❤❤❤
Finally your finishing watching it🙌🏽 Now prepare to cry (Both of us 😢😭) When Brimsely was dancing by himself 😢😢 When Queen Charlotte got under the bed and called farmer/ King George 😢😢😢
Thank you for coming back to this series and completing it - I watched your original reactions and really wanted to see what you thought of the ending! ❤
Episode 4 makes me shed a tear Every Time - i feel like Charlotte had to make a decision in that moment, and when she decides to go to him and tell him that she is venus, it's like yeah she was definitely the right one she's the right Queen
It’s still up in the air as to what King George the 3rd specifically had. but the show is going with him having a mental illness that shows when under pressure or stress
Thank you SO much for finishing this. I was SO looking forward to watching it with you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love and Pride from Texas. 🌈🏳️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🌈🏳️🌈🌈
