I love how considerate you are of other people, even in trying not to show their faces! When I see other RU-vidrs insistently showing someone with no regards whatsoever I get upset. Thanks for not being that way, and thanks for letting me stroll down London's streets, which I miss dearly.

Lóve the Goyard! A very old French brand. I find that they offer more quality than LV. If you like that style, check out Delvaux. A beautiful Belgian brand with the softest leather! 😘

I love your vlogs Sophie! It feels like traveling to London without leaving my home. I especially love when you show off the different architecture. The Regency style houses are quite striking! Also thanks for the info on Goyard. They have a small store setup inside of our Bergdorf Goodman store here in NYC and I often get a vintage Louis Vuitton travel feeling from the brand. Same! They have that je ne sais quoi. I’ve been to the San Francisco location when it was inside the Westin hotel and also Beverly Hills. One of the only luxury stores where staff is lovely all the time even when you are just browsing.

Yay! I’m so glad you bought something from Goyard! I also recommend you to buy another thing from them but add your initials and stripes as well. I don’t recommend initialing your Saïgon bag. They also have a really nice bag that’s like the Chanel wallet on chain bag; it’s called the Alexandre III bag.

Sophie I love your London shopping vlogs. My husband and I lived in London for a year for post grad studies (me at UCL he at Southampton) many many years ago, and while I don't want to overly romanticise London which as with every city has problems of its own, we genuinely had a ball of a time. We were supposed to return last year for a family trip but of course that was upended by the pandemic. Really looking forward to borders reopening, so we can take both our kids to our old haunts. On a separate note, I adore your new Goyard bag! I am such a fan of Goyard and their sensible design and impeccable craftsmanship. We are so lucky to have a Goyard boutique here in Singapore (along with Faure Le Page which I think you will love too!). My favorite is the Artois tote; I've used mine to death and will definitely repurchase. Lots of love from the tropics :)

I love when you speak to the younger generation about finishing college/university and either can’t find a job or getting stuck in a job that’s stressful or not satisfying. I have many friends/family who’s children are going through this or have gone through this. They spend years in school focused on a major only to get into the real world and not find a job in their field. They take jobs when they can and are underpaid, unfulfilled and are dealing with anxiety. I’ve mentioned you to them and of course from my husband and my own journeys try to encourage them. Things will get better but you have to be patient. I also know of young people that have gone in several different directions as things aren’t always what they’ve imagined. I’m all for finding a career that is exciting and satisfying as we spend decades of our lives working and it can be hell on earth if you don’t enjoy your career path.

Love the vlogs around London! I spent a semester abroad in London during college and we lived in South Kensington just around the corner from Harrod’s and all that. Such a gorgeous area, I haven’t been to visit in so long and seeing your vlogs make me nostalgic and want to go back for a vacation soon. I also love all the car stuff! I really like that you featured Goyard. I got a Goyard piece on a trip to Paris in 2012 and despite the current financial crisis and the various financial crisis that happened in between, I have never considered selling it along with some of the stuff that I sold through each financial crisis we've been through. I like that Goyard is very exclusive despite it being a year older than Louis Vuitton and find their discreetness charming...

I love this vlog. The last time I was in London in 2019, I had a "Sophie Shohet day out" alone since my husband wanted to do a tour of a football stadium. I put on my Baume und Pferdgarten leopard dress, boots, Balenciaga sunglasses, LV bag and leather jacket and walked from our hotel on Gloucester Road to Harrods. I had a look around Dior and a good browse around cosmetics and perfumes. Then I walked to Goyard (which was kind of farther than I thought it was) and the street it was on was really cute. I stood in line to get in, looked around, but didn't buy anything because I didn't see anything I wanted. I really like the bag you got, though!

Oh my god mascara under the eyes is the bane of my life! I have genetic dark circles under the eyes as well so I think it has a lot to do with the amount of concealer I have to put on. Love that you use the maybelline fit me powder, it's so good! Loved the vlog

I love the first leather jacket it's kind of an homage to racing. It looks like a racing kind of jacket you would wear to a race track. Probably why I like it. The fit is perfect for your torso it hit it the right places. Love the make of the Goyard bag. Seems like it's an exclusive brand handcrafted and well made.

Hi Sophie. The road trip your friend wrote to you about is very similar to the sort of trip we do in Australia, when travelling between the capital cities by road. After many such childhood trips, the novelty wore off for me and I now prefer aeroplanes! But the memory of the trips can be very nostalgic. I also like Goyard bags, but we do not have a boutique here in Australia, more's the pity. At one point there were rumours, but nothing eventuated. Thank you for the video! Have a fabulous day.

Yes, I can relate to having panic attacks on Sunday because I didn’t want to go to my toxic job on Monday. That was some years ago, now I have been laid off from a job I really enjoyed… (Lol and yes as a kid my family would drive from Georgia to New York every year about 950 mile trip. I never stopped to think of it as interesting before.)

I used to get mascara under my eyes all the time! I’ve used some really expensive mascaras and it didn’t make a difference 😅 I recently purchased the maybelline sky high and I’ve not had any mascara under my eyes even after a full day and make your lashes look amazing! Hope this helps ❤️❤️
