FIRST TIME WATCHING: Ready or Not...wow that was BLOODY!! 

Idk about you guys but this is my dream wedding....

I have said this before, and i'll say this again. Samara weaving has one of the best movie screams. You can feel how guttural it is!

Samara weaving solidified her role as a scream queen with this one. She deserved it with that scream! I love this movie so much, I’m glad you guys enjoyed it!

I love how the wedding dress got progressively worse over the story - Which was planned by the director - The amount of wedding dresses they must have had is crazy to pull off the different visual features.

The nail on top of the ladder…. It’s classic Hitchcockian suspense. Show the audience a bomb under a table but don’t tell the characters, your audience will spend the time until it explodes on the edge of their seats… same thing here. We know the nail is there, Grace doesn’t… and your mind immediately makes you twinge and squirm thinking about what’s coming…

The ending is my favorite because I didn’t believe that they would die if they didn’t kill her then it took a turn and they all blew up lmaoo

The servants are on the side of the family because they directly benefit from their generational wealth. They're probably paid super well and have nice living quarters so they stay tight-lipped about all the goat sacrifices and occasional hunting of new family members. That kind of loyalty is definitely bought. If the family dies, it's not like the servants are going to inherit anything, so by helping the family, they're selfishly looking out for their own self-interests. It plays into the theme of class and wealth running through the entire movie, because even though the servants are not the ones that are gonna die if the family fails the ritual, they've been convinced by the family that Samara Weaving's character is the enemy because they also lose something valuable if she wins. And for their lack of class solidarity, they all die off first.

Samara Weaving is totally awesome. She's beautiful and has stellar acting chops, plus she just seems cool. You should check out Mayhem, another incredibly violent comedy she was in a few years back.

The last scene of her covered in blood smoking on the steps with the house burning gives me the same vibes as the last scene of Knives Out. Like same but at the same time opposite vibes of Marta drinking coffee cozy at the house lol.

Even if the movie was plagued with bad directing, bad writing, bad editing and what not, the Samara Weaving show would make it entirely watchable. She's not just a great scream queen, she's got everything. One of my favorite female character in a survival movie along with Michelle in 10 Cloverfield Lane and the chick in You're Next.

I really really like this movie because it is witty and funny without if feeling forced and the many practical effects are beautiful! Can't wait for Cabin in the Woods though, it is one of my all time favorite movies!

I really think you guys would like Bad Times at the El Royale. Its not horror. More mystery/thriller but if you liked this as well Baby Driver, I think you would like it.

I went to see this twice in theaters. I was supposed to see It2 but it was sold out and I'm so glad it was because I never would have seen it. I LOVED it.

I love this movie! It's honestly in my top 10 Horror/Thriller/Comedy (whatever we wanna classify this as) films. It's just so perfectly executed all around. It's just so damn good. The cast is amazing but props to Samara Weaving for being so phenomenal in it. I think this performance really showcases *a lot* of her acting talents--drama, horror, comedy. Amazing!

If you liked this, you'd probably enjoy "You're Next". It's more of a straight horror film than this was, but it's just as cool.

The first time I watched this movie, when they were passing out weapons I thought, "Oh, no. They've probably spent years training for this moment." Then homeboy watches a RU-vid video about crossbows and I'm like...this movie is fucking perfect.
