Stephen A is totally correct, I can't believe the excuses the other guys are making when it is literally Shanahan's job to put players in a position to succeed, which includes protecting them from further injuring themselves when there is an obvious and significant risk. Players always want to play, its the coaches' job to make that determination with a greater level of rationality.
It's funny watching this now, and I usually don't agree with Steven A but he's 100% on this one... not that I necessarily blame Shanahan fully.... but he is the head coach and he gets final say. However, knowing what we do now, I don't think it was quite apparent at the time, that RGIII and Danny Boy sort of had their own ideas. It's hard for the coach to really control things if the owner is undermining your authority with the players.
One of those arguments where Stephen A smith is absolutely correct. There is a grey area here, and the blmaei is on the entire system. The player willing to risk it, the coach who wanted it,willing to risk it all, the ownership, the Doctor.etc... It 's clearly a thing that happened. And as humans we have a flaw of trying to prevent everything that has ever happened from happening again.. there are just too many vairbales to ever be 100% correct.
The doctor is the only one who SHOULDN'T be blamed, bro... he did his job. He examined him, and clearly stated he should NOT play. Don't lump the doctor in with the rest of these jokers...
