I think the only touched briefly on the real problem with this and all of these. The waning demand for EV. The general republic is finally figured out that there are pain to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Primarily because of the lack of a solid infrastructure for charging.
Any new tech product startup has to have access to a bundle of cash to weather the learning curve for making anything, building production facilities, hiring the right people, etc. and selling it at a profit.....EVs are the same. Ford and GM learned the hard way when they got out way over their skis thinking that, since they had been making cars for 100+ years, they could just wedge some EV stuff into existing platforms and, voila! A successful EV has to be designed from the ground up, just like any game-changing product. We're going to see a whittling down of the EV *AND* legacy automakers as the new kids on the block who have done EVs right school the old guys.
