I've got the three orange lights (attention & 2 cartridge) flashing. I've tried everything in this video & on the HP website. There's no paper jams, scraps of paper or foreign objects anywhere. When I open the carriage door at the front, the carriage does not move to the centre. As my warranty expired some time ago I'm thinking it'll be cheaper and quicker to buy a new printer. I can get an all in one HP3636 for £35 (or a Canon Pixma M3050 all in one for £30!) here in the UK. New cartridges for my HP 2542 will cost approx. £20 alone!
Had this pos in storage.. fitted the supplied colour cartage orange light flashed and would not turn off,,,got a new coloured cartridge not pos won't turn on.. now has 3 orange light perm on and 1 white light..Made to the best Chinese standards.

After waiting a minimum of 30 seconds, please plug the power cord back into the printer and then please plug directly into a wall outlet. Do i need to have both Coloured and Black Ink in order to print? I am currently having only Black Ink as it is what I need. The slot for the coloured ink is left empty. The flashing lights issue stopped, but I still cannot print anything. When I press both buttons to print the setup page the page comes blank with nothing printed on it. Please help
hi when i removed the tri color cartridge at 9:12, I found that ink has spilled on the nozzles, and its all over contact places where it gets fit into the printer. How do I handle this?

My printer makes a noise as it goes from right to left, the noise occurs on the left side it sounds like it is hitting something then goes to right and then start printing the work slantly while still printing with the noise and now it has stopped printing after so time of not using it, I print using wireless network

+Chiquito 2505 Blinking power light is normal it means the printer is busy processing a print, scan, copy, or maintenance job. However, as you mention that it is not printing it could be hardware or a software issue. To provide an accurate solution I need few more details: Are you able to a make copy using a standalone printer? are you using windows or mac operating system and which version?
It did not help my printer. When I plug the cable into the printer, everything flashes immediately. If I press and hold the power button, it will start blinking again and again all at once.

Connected to laptop, windows 10 64bit. 3.error msg in HP smart app: cartridge failure and in HP print doctor cartridge or print head problem under device status. @@HPSupport I have already done all those steps. it stops suddenly. the cartridge came with the order. looks like a software issue. it only prints test pages. bought just 15 days back. my return window closed on the 17th it stopped working on the 18th what a coincidence.

Its a useless printer. I got brand new in my office. It is not printing any page either Copier or test page. All it is giving is blank pages. Hate you HP.

HALP!! i updated my printer's firmware (Deskjet Ink Advantage 2545) and the lights are Flashing and the Number Counter is Showing me an "E" and its flashing too!!!
