I have the same truck, also with a 5.3. Mine has a VSR 7875 turbo tho, but I really wish I were closer to you so you could tune mine. 😎

So true, so many things can be glitchy sometimes. I can attest to sudden sensor failures and ECU delayed troubles after welding has been done on a car but these are rare cases. Wish you all the best and thanks for the experience explanation.

@dakotadale567 I've had 3 different models. The last a gen2 pnp. It had 4 cells at 2300rpm (can't remember kpa) cruise/part throttle, that got stumbling drunk!!! Rest of the map was perfect. Tried everything and couldn't fix it. Updating, back dating, moving the scale, didn't matter, in those 4 cells it was more lost than Joe B trying to exit the stage!

All ur holley videos might help me in the future...since you always go into great detail about the issues you find...this one video really sparked my interest because I'm building a 53 pickup with a ls swap!

I have a dominator ecu and 6.8 pro dash. I had an issue when I got the car going that it would not perform an internal log. Wouldn’t even pull up or show that I had performed a tps auto set. Other than that the car ran perfectly. Twin turbo ls/powerglide. Ended up going from v6 build 220 to the latest v5 software and all of the issues went away. Auto logs normally.

I love watching you figure this shit out. Watch those throttle blade return springs on those holley carb looking throttle bodies. Mine had a pansy spring and wouldn’t return closed all the way. Fried 02 😂

Ive had issues with V6.300 went back to 220 and ran great. Finish tuning it and then went to 300 and no issues. Kinda worried to try 400 now

For a 500-600hp BBC which do you think is a preferred brand setup, Edelbrock Pro-flow4 MPFI or the Holley Terminator Stealth? (Non X. Stealth that comes with the HP ecu.) Cost is a factor for me. it seems like the edelbrock mpfi is much more cost effective and better style of FI.

Question. I have an ls3 I dropped in my 65 Chevelle. Stage 4 ls3 cam. K&N intake, shorty headers. Stock otherwise. I tried aces injection first. Never got it to rev. Idled weird. Timing never was right. So I ripped it out and installed Holley terminator x. Before firing, checked the oil and was good. Started. First start with Holley, Blowing smoke like crazy, couldn’t hold idle. I had to give throttle. Tried running for 10 min, never cleared out. Checked oil, and tons of fuel made its way into the oil. But, Holley actually revved up the motor. Any ideas?

I was having a hell of a time starting my c10 the other day for the first time,Turned out my new injectors Wer stuck on shut.. who woulda thought right ? Squirted Alittle fuel in the throttle body and boom! Rest is history.

I enjoyed that video alot. I went thru a mess the other day with a mustang. The tune file was corrupted somehow. Long story short, Hodehaver hotrods sent me a cool file that worked.

That sounds like the last firmware update was interrupted either because of low battery voltage or an inadvertent ignition kill.

Usually when that happens the ecu doesn’t work at all - I’ve never seen one half way work like this 🤷‍♂️

Hey Joe have you seen a sbf with the Holley dual sync dizzy on a terminator x ecu, I’ll be driving down the road and all the sudden the ecu loses complete power out of nowhere. No one can shed any light on why it’s doing it I’m thinking maybe the dual sync, since it started doing it after that was installed
