I love watching grant give lessons. Not saying he doesn’t care about his own swing but I can tell he loves to put people before himself. Grant you’re doing huge things, keep it up and you’ll make a great name for yourself. I’m just saying if you ever start doing public lessons, my wallet is all yours.
Grant is simply great at what he does, I can really see him having a long and succesful career as a golf pro🔥 Trying to improve my own game too by watching these lessons!
These online tips have literally shaved ten strikes of my game in the last 3 weeks. I can’t watch enough of these! Grant I truly amazing at what he dies!
As a teacher, I’ve got to shout out Grant’s teaching style. He keeps it simple with two swing concepts or as I say student learner outcomes. He provides consistent reinforcement and promotes a positive learning environment. Excellent work Grant.
Grant is easily one of my fav GG members. Always so positive with that big smile and has such a good understanding of the mechanics of a golf swing. Wish I had him as a golf buddy!
I mean steve is kind of that. new hand position, different amount of turn, different tempo, slightly different impact position. i know what your saying, but I do think there will be a lot to learn from him teaching steve.
So many takeaways from videos like these!! The way you break things down is simple and effective, thank you for another valuable lesson🙌 gonna have to rewatch the grip video again and piece it all together!
I hve found out these few tips in my own training, and I couldnt agree more! A little pause at the top to let the body align and turn enough and the balance part is also spot on! Great coaching! 👌
Nice video Grant. You don't see many swing correction on actual people that need help with their swing. It's always the pro telling you how to do it themselves. I can relate to Steve's inconsistency and having him be the focus of your video/lesson really hits home to me. One of the best swing instruction video on RU-vid right now. You are the man. Thank you both. Keep them coming. I'm doing everything you are saying and you are fixing my swing at the same time.
Probably the best teaching vid to date! Looking forward to seeing Steve come out and really compete with the guys! I think after this video we're going to start to see that!
Love watching Grant give lessons before hitting the range, gets me in the zone. I wished you lived in west London man. Great teacher, great vids 👍 Keep ‘em coming!
Love these videos, you are onto something here Grant. I think this is a great change of pace from the fun time vibes of the other GG content. Seeing the technical breakdowns of the swing positions pre and post, is very interesting. Keep it up!
I wish there were more lesson videos from you guys, I struggle with slicing the ball so much, but seeing these videos every now and again has really helped be more consistent with my shots.
I have the same problem with my turn, transition & balanced finish. You’re video helped me immensely. I’ve gained yardage and consistency. Love your channel. TY Grant!
That is some of the best advice anyone can get, and with simple straight forward instructions. I've spent the whole summer learning how to load up and release with the same tempo.
I played a lot of golf in the summer of 2018 & I played ever once in awhile since then but now I’m trying to back into it. I think what made me quit was bc I didn’t see improvement or feel it. I’ve watched lots of RU-vid videos on what I’m doing wrong but watching this video & the one with Bubbie really helped. I feel like you explain things in a way that’s easy for beginners or just newer golfers to understand. Thanks Grant! Your awesome!
My buddy who's helped me with learning golf this year just gave me the exact same tip on saturday. Nice to see a video cover it in depth to help out even more
Love watching Grant gives lessons. I just started playing with all of my police buddies, and Grant has actually helped me figure some stuff out in my swing. If you ever come to North Carolina would love to have a lesson from you.
This video is by far one of the best overall vids I’ve seen from Grant. The others are awesome too, but I love how he was able to show at the end the before and after as that helps visualize a lot of what I’m possibly (and most likely) am doing wrong as well. 👍🏻
This is so good. I have some back and neck injuries from sports when I was younger. I totally notice a difference when my tempo, balance, and follow through are all good during the same swing. If you set up correctly and do these things you should be hitting some great shots. The key is to remember this on the course and make it a consistent part of your game. I needed to see this to remind myself to do these same things. Thanks Grant.
I mean.. this is so correct. You don't hear it that often. Great reinforcement. @Grant Horvat Golf I would really love to see a video from you like this going over the 'particular's of the DRIVER swing and the basics as you can explain it. How to stop grounding out, how to create a healthy turn with having a wider stance (as opposed to irons), what, if any aim point when at address, best to not rest club on the ground before takeaway, FOCUS on the Driver
Grant you're just such a great guy man. So supportive, polite, and you know exactly how to deliver criticism to maximize progress and results. Proud of you and what you're doing for what's sure to be the entire golf world.
This is the lesson I needed. I started taking a longer driver back swing and it improved my drives so much. Now im working on doing the same with my irons
Dude this videos are great keep it up. I’m sure I speak for a lot of people. You’re not only helping the guys at good good, you’re also helping us. Badass
Great video Grant. Really love these videos. I struggle too with transition as many of us do leading to inconsistency. We try creating speed at all the wrong places (backswing, top of downswing, etc) instead of pausing at the top and max out club head speed at bottom of downswing. Great content👌🏻
you’re so easy to learn from. after playing baseball my whole life, making the transition to golf has been hard. i hit left handed my whole life but have found more luck learning to swing from the right side for golf. keep up the good work man.
Great content Grant. Keep up the great work. It's inspiring to see Steve progress so much. I live in the DFW area. I'm waiting to run into you guys while I'm out playing some rounds.
Just recently got back into golf after a 10 year hiatus. Grant you have been tremendous in helping me get my speed, tempo and swing thoughts back. All of your content is absolute quality
Video feedback is huge! Love the content Grant, keep it up. I suffer from similar issues in transition and my downswing is over the top cause I'm too quick and don't use enough hip turn. Love the idea of holding balance and follow through until the ball lands. I usually hold it for a second or two, but definitely have balance issues. Freezer drills at the top, lets go!
I’m literally learning how to swing a club and how to play golf in general from Grant’s page, good good labs, and good good. I just bought my first new to me set! Excited!
Absolutely loved this video. This is exactly what I've been working on. I didn't realise making a small stop at the top of the back swing will help the transition more, and pointing slightly left of target will also help. i shall try this at the range tomorrow. I did understand Steve about the range swing and course swing. not just me then :)
Grant you are a phenomenal teacher. Can you upload more videos like this or maybe just like a “quick tips with Grant”? Or like a bi weekly lesson or something? I’d love some more tips or drills on how to improve tempo or balance or anything.
Grant, love your insight on a golf swing. i call my game luck cause i have a inconsistent ball strike. but ill go out and play just to feel the ball leave the club face even on the misses. wish you and the crew would make a Wyoming trip and play some of the public courses in some thin air!
I’m 38 and Im completely blown away of how knowledgeable Grant is for how young he is . He is light years ahead of 99% of guys his age and even older golfers when it comes to mechanics of the swing . To have an eye to see when Steven send his shots in a specific direction to have him tweak it with the little pause at the top . Great work Grant . This entire good good crew is so refreshing to watch . To see younger guys play well and actually put time into there game is great too see .
Grant I sure do like your teaching method and the joy you express in seeing Steve improve and nice work Steve. Grant how would you help a 68 year old senior that no longer has the mobility to turn back and follow through?
This was exactly what I needed. I have the same exact issue of not finishing my backswing and getting way too quick and out of sync in the downswing. I feel a slight pause at the top like I’m Hideki lol
