Hey Adam I’ve loved your videos for YEARS now and you’ve inspired my interest in vehicles, what I personally think you should do with the subs for your first car is 1 show everyone who doesn’t already know how this stuff works, and 2 show how you can make the subs sound best they can (how to reduce trunk rattle, orientation in the trunk, and placement in the trunk aswell as possibly prep work.

Nice to see the vibrant resonator in action. I just ordered a bunch of vibrant bends and some 304 tubing and have a resonator and couldn’t decide if I should put it on or not. It made the jzx sound better so I think I’ll find someplace to squeeze it in. I did go with a valvetronic muffler (drifthq doesn’t handle them) so I can run quiet or loud depending on my mood. ✌️
@@franciscodiaz1214 it wouldn’t seem that way. Wrap is farrrr cheaper as a solution than titanium resonators etc. it’s a suggestion. Implying I’m a clown for offering a suggestion says more about you than me. 😮
Love the JZX100 Chaser content! One of the main reasons I bought my factory 5 Speed JZX100 chaser. Chelsea (RTR) actually sent you a photo of my Chaser with your LZ skateboard in front of it in Japan! I always put you skateboard on display with my car. Hope you liked it man!

Putting that little muf close to the wheel line, but also in the hardest due to subframe is premium. The anti speed bump thought on this is pure science haha.

It's common to see a lot of Varex mufflers in Australia. My mate has an S15 with one. It's a lifesaver. And license saver. Straight pipe when you want, 4inch in and out, click a button and it engages camry mode. Great for going past cops. Would be awesome for the chaser
Please get into some detail on the subwoofer install, the nostalgia would bring me way back. I used to sell that Rockford Fosgate stuff, maybe even the exact generation you were talking about. All that equipment changed every year for every brand so it's tough to say. I've done my fair share of audio installs but I was the salesman that knew all the details about everything we carried. These days the industry is far more niche since every modern car either comes with the features stock or they make it prohibitive/impossible to do aftermarket stuff. I still have a full brand new system I've been meaning to install; 2 Alpine amps, and Alpine Type R speakers + 10 Type R dvc sub. Gonna need to pick up a modern Pioneer touchscreen cause the one I still have is from 2010 so it's very outdated. This package is basically a better version of the system I put together back in the day, that one had two Alpine Type E svc 12s. The Type R 10 I have hits harder than the two 12s and it's smaller but takes the same power, win-win.
I install car audio etc bs for work, I would love to see you guys installing them subs and the whole process! I don’t remember if you guys did sound dampening prior but if not I’d look into getting Blackhole. Trunk will still go brrrr but it’ll clean up the sound more 😂😂
Bro subwoofers were my first install as well. I remember I had 2 12” Kicker CVR’s and a 600W kenwood amp. Blew that amp in about a month. Then upgraded to a 1600W Alpine amp and boy that was almost too much power. Subs can be so obnoxious but I do miss it sometimes lol
Man everytime I see this chaser in person or in videos it makes me want one sooo so bad they look so beautiful with that kit on them. Also please film the sub install for the nostalgia funny thing is that was the last mod I did to my GT after doing the suspension and brakes (from your parts car GT350) and wheels and stuff I was like now it’s time to have a sound system for the full package lol.
notchy quick shifts are goaded but...... You can learn to love the tractor box that is a R154, no W58 in the feel department but good for stuff and not breaking
The rev for kids is a must my mates and I drove past a school here in AUS and my mate told me a lot of them were giving me the limie finger but I missed it and I felt bad so I turned around and drove past and let my LS1 sing for them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 made me feel awesome
