The AI still does cheat in fog of war, it's just that it needs to see the unit first. Even if it cannot see your unit, it knows where it is and will purposefully reveal it to attack it.

​​@@FreSch_Dude this is the behaviour from the gba games, but afaik they changed it From Dual Strike onwards they fixed the AI cheating

​@@rompevuevitos222 I had the AI going out of their way to move directly next to a hidden unit several times. The FoW battles are much better now but I think the AI still knows where hidden units are, they just can't attack them directly anymore.

@@arnekrug939 wdym go out of their way? The ai will obviously prefer to be in hiding spot. So it is always a sensible idea to move into one

@@hectordiaz1575 Nah it's garbage period, take her market crash for example, seems great against power characters like hawke right?!?!? Except ALL of hawke's units get a basic buff while hers do NOT! So even if you market crash his power you're still getting F'ed because his units are just better.

@@Delimon007 Market Crash is Sasha's COP, not Sonja's. Also, Hawke's D2D is 110/100, not 110/110. He hits slightly harder but takes the same amount of damage when attacked. Thing is, his D2D doesn't actually take him over any damage thresholds. So as long as you're hitting him first all he'll really do is do slightly more chip damage on the counter. If he's attacking you he might do a single extra point of damage every now and then depending on the matchup, which at most _might_ delay a capture on occasion when a 100/100 CO wouldn't, or make some 50-50s into guarantees. If he was 120/100 he'd actually be really powerful, since that puts you over the 2-shot threshold on infantry vs infantry.

It wasn’t really hidden in the reef since enhanced vision happened. And that’s probably where the bug came from, it couldn’t see your lander (as it doesn’t cheat) but when it suddenly could something weird happened.

Yeah, it seems like the bug is tied to the AI having visible spaces changed during their turn, Sonja does it the most, but Drake occasionally does it too with the visibility reduction from rain

They generally are worth it, but it depends on the situation.

Yeah, it is. Exactly what's happening I can't say, but it happens when an AI's visible spaces update in an unusual way. Sonja's Power does it a bunch, but Drake's does as well.

@@aprinnyonbreak1290 it can only occur with CO's whos power directly changes the visibility element of FoW. for sonja its literally because it changes her visibility. but the same thing can happen with drake and olaf because their powers overwrite FoW with a different weather condition that gives them visibility.

So Sonja is just Monika? Oh now I want to see Monika in that outfit!
