This not only hasn't got shit to do with tattooing, but it also is harmful and potentially dangerous. Imagine if at masterchef they had people try to forge a sword

I thought the point of this was figuring out who was the best tattoo artist, not who can put up with the most amount of bullshit. Not only is this stupid, but it's dangerous as well.

They were working with electricity. Nikki was genuinely scared of the LIVE WIRES. Of course she wouldn't do well. Hell it even started on fire. Those judges were giving them shit for the worst thing to work with.

Literally NOTHING about this challenge showed how well these artists could create a tattoo in a specific amount of time. In this the judges were way too harsh and almost bullied these artists for something that is NOTHING like tattooing!

This literally has nothing to do with tattooing and it seems way harder. Tattooing is really up close and they have stencils and outlines to make it perfect, this is literally using live wire's heat on a huge canvas, they got burned and shocked a bunch too, that doesn't happen with tattooing. This is like asking someone that can run fast to swim fast, they can do something fast, but that doesn't mean they can do everything else fast, this show is so stupid. The judges graded them so hard, too. It's like they thought they are amazing at this and need to critique them instantly. If a 6 year old was taught how to cook pasta and a food critic tried it, the food critic obviously shouldn't expect what a real cook can make, they judges shouldn't good work, either.

Sometimes I think they secretly want to kill the contestants thin the herd

Lord their just human, and so are the judges, the only pleasure someone should get from knocking others down is removing their pedastools, not knocking them to the ground.

I feel like it’s very unfair with niki how they’re treating her. She did the most reasonable thing, backing up, when everything started to burn.

I'm right with Nikki here, I'd be So anxious and honestly scared to do this challenge. I'm terrified of electricity and when I'm doing something that involves a phobia of mine, I just don't trust myself not to go numb and faint or have an anxiety attack. It's so dumb but that's just a part of how I am that I have tried but can't get over.

i like these flash challenges but theyre getting a bit desperate here!

I cannot believe they thought this was a good idea. I would expect this from my alcoholic father but not from a tv show. Live wires are dangerous at the best of times and they decided to make them sketch with them. They are luck it was only small shocks and not a fire or damage to the nerves.

This shows just how toxic these types of shows are. Your contestants are in physical pain, being forced to perform well under pressure, with live electricity, and you all have the gall to belittle them? Seriously!

I understand trying different mediums to test an artist’s creativity level. HOWEVER, I don’t recall electrocution being an art medium. This is as bad as Tyra dangling models over pits upside down from fishing nets. 🤷‍♀️

How exactly does this relate to tattoo art and technique? This is not “adversity” this is random. Never would I ever ask before going into a tattoo shop “but how is your wiring electricity art tho🤔”

Why they judging their art skills when they literally used electricity sparks so make art I think all of them win tbh

I hate these kinds of flash challenges, the artists have little to no experience with the equipment cannot produce quality work. A single person was able to find a technique- that speaks to how difficult and nonsensical this is. This was not a challenge for artistry- this was a deliberate and dangerous exercise in dooming artists to fail.

Kind of similar to pyrography in woodwork but 28393% more dangerous and unpredictable. :))

All of the judges just picked on the girl that pouted about the medium. The other team were also being a-holes by laughing their butts off. Like not like you could do anything near that!
