I'm wondering if the next crisis level event is going to be some version of the Blackest Night arc as it was referenced this episode. And they sorta implied that the splicer could bring anyone back from the dead, since that was the fear Allegra had. If that is the case then I might stick with the show to see how that plays out.
If it was season 1-3 probably would be but they don't consistently follow up references anymore. I'd love to be wrong and see John having trained to use the ring.

Black flame had such good potential, the idea of a meta going around targeting greif victims was so cool, because its a problem that can't be solved by speed or by one conversation. But now it's been revealed that it's all around caitlin it's complicates things. So rather than feeding of greif it's feeding of caitlin a friends for some reason. I feel like it's motivation changes every epiaode. The iris subplot is still bad since its making iris a damsel in distress again which is just boring and I don't see why tinya would ever want to work with iris or team flash. I'm just board most of the epaiode
In the words of the metal gear meme, "why are we still here? Just to suffer!?" I hope season 9 is the official last season but even if it's not I hope the ending is satisfying enough to where I can finally hop off this wild train
I kinda wish the actress for patty spivot and iris were switched that way Candice patton can leave the show cause we all know she wants to and she get other opportunities. And we could still have the OTP from the comics
So just curious was this the first time they explained how frost and Caitlyn split apart? I honestly could never remember how that was explained and it never came back ? Anyone got an answer for me on this ? Lol
So I buckled as I have nothing else to watch, and binged this current season. I liked the first few episodes well enough but rapidly it proved the pattern true. It'll start off okay, and just nosedive. I hate saying this because it means no more work for everyone involved but... this should be the end of The Flash. It's just... ugh.
I love Caitlyn in the ifret few seasons, but like with many of the characters in the arrowverse, the writing around the character has just gotten so terrible.
