$995 or an extra $270 if you want a binary trigger. That sounds really expensive until you start adding up all the premium components. I was planning on building a 10/22 this winter a piece at a time. Might just buy this instead. 4.4lb total weight according to the website.
I've seen people comment a solution looking for a problem on this.10 22 takedown is an annoying process that I hate.I'm sold on these receivers I'm going to get one soon.
Just a heads up for anyone wanting to build off these receivers, I have the original fixed fletcher open top and I ran into some tolerance issues. I could not get the v-block to sit evenly between the barrel and receiver. The block contacted the barrel before the receiver which caused the v-block screws to bent. I ended up leaving the screws like that with some loctite. Barrel hasn’t moved and the gun is accurate although getting it to run right has been fun. I used a Kidd barrel, bolt and recoil assembly. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to build.
Dustin you need to adjust the collar on the receiver out one click at a time until it’s tight to pull the barrel off and back on. Then you’ll get the same groups. That’s how I set mine up
Suppressed. 22lr firearms are awesome. I have a silencerco sparrow, but would like to eventually add another. 22lr suppressor to my collection. That top cover is an awesome idea, however I already have 3 10/22 firearms, and I like my left side charging handles.
I was wondering what it would sound like if the bolt was closed the moment you first shot it and I really didn't expect you to do that, that deserved a thumps up!
Buyers beware they sent me a receiver with a bad tap - offered to send me longer screws, never did. Offered to replace, never did. Asked for address to confirm sent address no response. Been over 7 months now. Had to drill out to accept a nut and bolt. Great idea horrible execution and worst customer service on this side of hemisphere.
just subscribed man love the video super knowledgeable and i love the gun! made me instantly want one for myself, also just recently started shooting and going to the range since ive picked up my pistol and was surprised how hard it is to aim, i was struggling to hit where i wanted to. watching you hit those targets was satisfying and makes me determined to improve!
all takedown 10/22's, you can walk the group higher, simply by leaning on the rifle too much. (the front rest pushes up and flexes on the barrel upwards). All 10/22 takedowns, no matter how much pressure that you put on the locking collar.
2:43 What magazine do you have in the rifle from TandemKross? I can’t find it on the website. Is it like to double kross where it’s 2 separate 10 rd magazines or is it 30 all together in that package, no reload.
Top Shot Dustin, I just watched Kentucky Ballistics do a video where guest RU-vidr shoot multiple guns that he has and rank them the worse in recoil. I think we should volunteer you and Matt from Demolition Ranch to shoot his 4 Bore 😂.
What magazine do you have in that the barrel is connecting to when it's taken down and does it come with it? I assume it's 10 rnd mags in the butt stock?
hc3r- and it loads from stripper clips with a speedloader. Gotta make sure to follow the instructions to seat the rounds right but if you do it feeds 100%
Dustin, I have a question about your hearing protection… are they the Axil GS Extreme 2.0? If yes? Have you had issues with the piece of wire that secured the bud into your ear by running over the top and down behind your ear breaking? I’m on my 4th broken pair now and just ordered the full wireless set. Just curious if others are having the same issue or if it’s just the way I’m using them.
There's a you tube channel ballistic high speed one of the guys on the channel was injured while filming maybe you and and your contacts can film a video encouraging his recovery
Dustin I love this video but that rifle is very strange since it shoots in semi-automatic mode or you do something very strange every time you shoot. In terms of dealing with the weapons, they do not break, they are American
