I"m 60 years old now, but remember me and my father watching the Flip Wilson show. My dad was a minister and got a kick out of watching Flip preach. Now, my dad, my mom, and flip are all gone, but I have great memories. The late 60's and 70"s were great times to grow up before society lost their way.
I'm also a fan of flip, God what a man an a great show. Those we're good times to grow up in. My age is 61. And Redd Foxx Sanford an son. We had great T. V. then.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t born yet when these episodes first came out, but my parents told me about this show. But I can TRUTHFULLY say that I remember these two late greats from my childhood in spite of the fact that I caught the tail end of their careers.
He wasn't underrated,he was praised and got his dues,he was in magazines,on other shows, guest stared on TV show,he called the shots,he was in charge of his career when he became a hit.
Amen! I stands for Ignition! So funny. And I stands for Idle...lol. GIVE!. Having great TV shows we would all watch way back then don't exist anymore American humor like great I love Lucy and so many don't exist. I'm grateful I can see these and laugh but also sad that future generations are ignorant to an extent.😅
Read the book about him. From Jersey City, NJ. Started doing comedy bits when he was in the army. His fellow soldiers asked him if he ever thought about doing stand-up comedy as a job. He said no. Thank goodness he changed his mind.
That's what's wrong with most people today , tight on the hips easy on the lips! As you can tell I said that backwards. In late 50 can't remember shit in order .😂
😂❤ Bible says Jesus Christ said in the Bible that were dead and are centrioles passes and send except we come to Christ and accept him as our Lord savior you shall surely
Redd got Flip his big break on the Tonight Show by promoting Flip to Johnny Carson. It’s great to see Flip return the favor by having Redd as his guest in this sketch.
I loved and watched the Flip Wilson show along with my parents. We couldn't wait for the show to come on. It was a lot of laughter in our home. Thank you Mr. Wilson for all the laughs!!
