Unless "the tipster" has a prior relationship with the police, AND has proven themselves to give accurate/factual information. That would be someone who is "registered" as a "Confidential Informant." A 911 Call does not give police "probable cause."

The sheriff said that they responded to a disturbance and found the back door kicked in along with the sound out of what seemed to be to them someone in distress so they made entry which is lawful. Police can enter a home uninvited and without a warrant if someone sounds like they need help.

There’s no war, it was just a neighborhood thing that got out of control sounds like a neighborhood disagreement!! And the suspect broke down the neighbors back door and was inside murdering them, then the police heard the commotion and moved away from the initial call to check on the other house.
