A chilly November morning kayak fishing on the Florida flats. The air temperature was 62 degrees and the water nipped at my feet as I launched from the beach. Today presented a rising tide that would crest in approximately three hours. I would be able to fish the remainder of the incoming tide through the flood and the first few hours of the falling. Plenty of fish to be found including Speckled Trout, Redfish, Sharks and more. At the peak tide, as the water came to a standstill, the bite shut down. I spent the lunch hour on a small island to stretch my legs and wait or the water to move again. The day turned into a perfect 72 degrees, with the sun warming my face. Come along and enjoy the day with me. Tight Lines!
