“DING DONG”?!!! You are crazy, and I just love you!! This week will fly by while Ray is in Ireland. I’m sure your needle will fly, too! Less than 3 weeks!!! ❤️ Have fun with your “little boys” today! 😘❤️
Hi Nikola, have a great week. Thank you for shareing your friends sampler of Mary Carter. She did a great job stitching her. I had to look up the word rotateable and yes it is a word. TTFN
What a great idea is that scissors stand?! Agree the yellow is much more of a muted honeycomb/mustard colour. We've used the Cohana colour palette - green, pink, yellow, but you're right they are: teal, rose and honeycomb. People do love them.
So inspiring as always Nicola - Thank you for a wonderful floss tube! So many beautiful samplers I want to stitch them all! Very humbled by the judges comments but also find this so very encouraging in a journey that for me has only just recently begun! I am so new to needlework but absolutely love spreading my enthusiasm for learning and creating with this new skill. I love keeping a record of my work on my instagram page but also love the opportunity to inspire others. Each stitch to me is a piece of magic as the beautiful designs that you and many others create finally come together, I keep hoping that every stitch is better than the last💖. Have a lovely week away💕 Ps loved the dog tail wag above the pictures around 22- 23mins in - it was almost a subtle reminder from Hugo/ Berty to wind up for their walk! 😉😅
Nicola, what a delightful flosstube! Love seeing your beautiful tools. Have a wonderful week, and enjoy the RSN exhibit…that would be such a dream for me. Can’t imagine a week without you, so will look forward to your return!
Hi sweet Nichola, I absolutely love listening to your wonderful history of your gorgeous samplers. I am a beginner but I am collecting as much as I can of your beautiful Sampler for the future . Nichola darling, I have signed so many times for the news letter and so far I haven’t received any and I would love to catch up with your news. If you could help me with this matter I would so much be appreciated ! Love Valeria
Beautiful samplers, Nicola! I hope you aren't too lonesome this week! I had a question about stitching and judging. I learned how to begin with a pin stitch from your short video, and always begin that way now. However, I've looked and looked about how to end single stitches or very small groupings without jumping stitches. There seems to be ever so much about beginning, but not ending small stitches. Any literature you could recommend on that would be so helpful! Thank you so much! Hugs, Candace

Hi Nicola! Always love seeing your beautiful samplers! You always brighten my day! Sounds like you're going to have a lovely week even without Ray. I wish I were coming to the Bristol weekend at the Attic but was too late in planning. I'm a bit in the sandwich generation these days, watching my new little grandson (a pure delight)while mommy teaches school, and watching over my father in law who is 95. I don't always comment but rest assured I'm always tuned in. Thank you for your fabulous videos! 🌿🌸🌿
Hi Nicola, I was wondering where on social media would I see your new releases? I am new to cross stitch & learning as I go! I enjoyed seeing all your gorgeous samplers! Your video was lovely to see!💖
Ands Across the Sea Samplers has an Instagram and Facebook page and I will post the new release there and on our website as well. Thank you for your kind words.
Your videos are always very interesting and enjoyable, I wanted to thank you for the wonderful presentation you make of my products thanks again Daniele
Crazy me I’ve been watching you for a few months and did not realize i had not subscribed….eeek. Sorry!! I enjoy every moment of your videos and you are inspiring me to stitch a Sampler. Thank you for your time. Hugs, Jeannette
Hello Nicola, I am curious, I know that these samplers are reproductions. The antiqued linen that they are stitched on, do you buy the linen pre-dyed like that? Or do you age/antique it yourself. Perhaps you have addressed this in a previous Floss Tube, but if you haven't, would you talk about it? The antiqued linen add so much to the samplers and make them look so authentic. Thank you for all the information that you share with us. Bless you!
lovely samplers. Can you recommend any good videos/classes for creating beautiful samplers and the technique of starting and stopping stitches in various situations? Would the correspondence course from the Royal College of Needleworks be good, and on the other end of the spectrum anything free out there on You Tube? Thanks so much!

Hi Nicola, whaat is the name of the brand of scissor fobs and thread keeps? I would love to order some from the Attis but I am not sure what to ask for. As always, thanks for your great videos!
