Hi Nitya! It was so lovely to catch up with you and see all the FFOs, progress, and starts that you've made during this month. I also enjoyed hearing about your adventures in Iowa, getting a garden update, and hearing about all kinds of future plans!

Nati! This is so nice, thank you! So, so many future plans! All I want is time to stitch and craft and make. It was exciting to see you on video this morning! Hope to hear more from you! fun to see your crochet along with the stitching (FYI - make a center pull ball with the fingering weight yarn. Then you can just pull both ends.... eliminates the chance of not being able to use every last bit...)

Hi!! Always nice to spend time with you. Gaia (sp?) is gorgeous, both your stitching and framing. Then your experiment on that printed textile and the bunny on the blue piece are both very intriguing. You telling us about your thrifting reminded me of the great thrift stores along Madison St. I hope they're still great. Congrats, Steve!! That's quite a ride. Amazing job!!!! Wow!😊 And to you Nitya also, as support is important and not always easy. Pretty flowers, too. You are a renaissance woman. 😊

Hi Patti! There aren't really thrift stores left on Madison unfortunately! But there is a large Goodwill not too far, so that helps. And we love getting around to all different thrift stores just to see what treasures each town can offer. I'll pass along the congrats to Steve! Renaissance women 😀 Now I just need to get better at all the other stuff like cooking, cleaning, etc. Some day! How are you? How is the fall season treating you? Do you have any fun outings planned? Any fun fall stitching?

@@DaybreakStitchery so sorry to know that those thrift stores are gone. It does lead to exploring other areas, though they were a lot of fun. And good finds. I usually don't stitch for the season but saw a cute piece I had to have called Candy Corn of Mischief. Just a sweet, fall colored piece. I cant insert it here but I started & finished it pretty quickly. I'm trying to focus on my large WIPs. Yes, I'm a large WIP gal too. I have 9 wips right now. Eight are large and six of those are full coverage. I just love it!!!

I totally agree with you that the shops in the meetup towns should have stayed open for all the support crew! Y’all had time to kill and I would have stumbled into many quilt shops and spent money if it was me 😂 I guess we have to figure they know what they’re doing and business was slow during past events? I love exploring little towns like that so I would be bummed if everything was closed! Also, I keep waffling on starting Namarie. I’m DYING to but I also don’t need another BAP at this moment while I’m trying to finish old WIPs 😩

Ohh!!! I was going to do the Tapestry on green with a silvery floss. I couldn’t find the perfect green (except one that was massively back ordered) so I’m doing a green floss on a silvery background instead. It’ll be my first MFE! I’m also now hunting down those magazines since you mentioned Anne of Green Gables. I love the native plants. I am planning out my garden for next year, as I want a mix of veg/herb, native flowers, and some shrubs to shade our front windows more. My coneflowers are doing great this year!

Hi Michelle! Oh Michelle, your first MFE. How have you been able to hold back for this long! I lose my self-control around those patterns. Your colors sound gorgeous! Very elegant. The coneflowers were so nice this year! They added some beautiful pops of color all over our neighborhood. Do you find that lots of your neighbors are adding native plants too?

@@DaybreakStitchery I got the Morbs first and am flying through it. And no, most of my neighbours are very suburban style grass yards. I did get a bunch of perennials added after expanding my garden bed. I’m hoping they established roots and survive the winter 🤞

Salut Nitya !! Tes ffos sont trop trop bien, j’étais déjà fan des oiseaux de Jacob quand ils n’étaient encore qu’un finish mais encadrés ils sont encore plus beaux ! J’espère que grâce à eux tu choperas un nouveau ruban ;) D’ailleurs c’est trop la classe, je crois pas qu’on ait ça en France… Sinon je compte aussi utiliser du lin d’habillement pour certains ouvrages ; en fait ce type de lin est moins précis par rapport au compte de fil, certaines zones peuvent être du 38ct, 10cm plus loin ça peut être du 40ct, d’où le changement de format une fois la broderie finie. Mais je me dis que ça peut être marrant d’expérimenter et de se laisser porter par ce hasard ! En tout cas merci pour cette heure passée avec toi, bravo pour ton avancement et à plus !

Salut Elektra! Ça fait longtemps! Merci pour ces commentaires, t'es trop gentil 🥰 Il n'y a pas de concours d'artisanat, par exemple? J'ai enfin commencer à suivre unpetitfil sur IG, TROP jolis, les fils! Ok dis-moi si tu t'en sers des lins d'habillement parce que je m'intéresse à voir le résultat. Oui, ce serait marrant! Vas-y! Vas-y! En espérant de voir une vidéo bientôt de toi!
