Oscar through some very sloppy combinations on the ropes rarely landing a decent punch. Floyd picked Oscar apart and landed very hard crisp shots. In my opinion Floyd dominated Oscar. But not in a brutal way, but technically instead.
Oscar brought it all on to himself... cross dressing was the least of his problems... he's trying to become the new age Don King... slimey, cheat, crooked, money-hungry and opportunistic. I have ONE word for that: effim!
floyd and de la hoya are funny. they both talk shit about each other but one cant be without the other. those guys are making millions together. its amazing how much they make
Can anyone please shortly describe what did Mayweather say about de la Hoya (I heard "CEO of golden boys"? or smth. like that?), and what did he say about Ortiz, in particular about his family (so that the guy at the end mentions "Mayweather is disrespecting Oscar de la Hoya, he just disrespected your family story...") Thanks in advance!
Floyd has always been jealous of Oscar for some reason, dont know why probably because he always got more credit for his career than Floyd has,he better fight Pacquaio soon before its too late it may already be
Armando Aadoui I can tell you are just a casual boxing fan ,Floyd has to buy peoples admiration and he pays his ho's to like him if you remember your hero Floyd started crying in one of his interviews saying people dont admire and respect him like they do to Oscar, and he doesnt know why, its because he is a pussy afraid to fight someone we know who ,Floyd will always be remembered for being a COWARD and he will always have to buy womans attention its that simple
and I'm a huge boxing fan btw its not that I only defend mma fighters its just that i don't like to see people be ignorant on either side. Both sports are very different from each other and have different elements that have to be taken into consideration. Ive competed in mma, kickboxing and boxing and I can see all deserve equal amounts of respect.
@fullybuiltcivic1 WTF r u talking about mj and shit? anyways send a link to where u got these rankings and when were "these rankings posted" like tha date and shit? just because 1 foo from espn said it was don't mean shit.
You're saying that mma fighters are unintelligent and can only throw a punch but that is completely incorrect. I agree that in terms of the striking boxer are much more technical but thats because the whole sport revolves around the concept of punching, evading punches, measuring distance etc. so they have to develop those skills very well where as in mma there is a ground game, submissions, wrestling and striking in the clinch. mma fighters are intelligent but there is many aspects involved
After watching this video... it makes me think all the talking Mayweather does is really just a "show" and not how he really feels. It's all just good marketing because you can tell the other fighters and promoters don't really care that he is dissing them. It's kind of like WWE wrestling it's all a good show to get more fans tuned and buy PPV's
@Hitman1190 i see what ur sayin and i am a boxer. but floyd like in the judah fight uses bigger pillow like gloves that weigh the weight there suppose to so he can block but i dont think he'll do it in this fight. he didn't against marquez and him and moseley had the same gloves so we'll see like u said
Cotto fight didn't happen back then because due to Arum and Floyd's relationship, Bob did not want them fighting each other because Cotto was the only young undefeated champion he had at that time, he didn't want floyd to challenge him. Floyd actually tried to get in the ring with Cotto and it didn't happen. and while that was going on Floyd was accepting Arturo Gatti's Challenge. and please tell me who strongly demanded this Judah rematch? you think just because floyd had problems early in the
@DuhVictim Sir, you gave the JUDGE'S SCORECARDS as all being for Castillo. Again, how did Mayweather win the fight if the JUDGES scored the fight for Castillo? Please answer the question.
@FBC83rd Agreed we'll see what happens. But just to make sure we're on the same page Floyd's been using 10oz gloves since all the way back to 2006 vs Baldomir (He did too against De La Hoya, Hatton, Marquez & against Mosley. All 10oz) & You're right about Floyd not being overly-defensive against Mosley & Marquez but you gotta ask yourself who was his last southpaw opponent & when? Judah, Corley? Mayweather gets a bit more aggressive than usual vs southpaws & we know how Ortiz will fight too.
Fair enough, but the drugs test would put Manny at a disadvantage, because he would lose a phew days of training and preperation, no fighter should have to take a drugs test just because the other fight demands he does so.
Hey, I agree. It's fake a little bit cause the other guys aren't getting mad about what Floyd is saying. I notice Canelo didn't look Floyd eye(2:25) to eye when he shook his hand.
They both would be tested and as we have seen on 24/7 the testing comes after workouts. After a meal and good nights rest he should be fine. I don't understand whats so abnormal about Manny's body that it takes days to recover. I've given blood ( much more than what would be asked from these tests) and after a sugar cookie, and a nap I felt great
I think its funny how this is all set up. All of this is obviously fixed. People, do you not realize that they need to find a way to hype up the fights. On camera, they act like this, but behind the cameras, their all chilling with each other.
no... they are chanting "Cucka".... which is Spanish for shit or crap. What most people don't know is that Canelo likes to fart in the ring. That's how he stuns his opponents before KOing them. He lifts his left leg, lets out a little fart, and then hits his opponent when the guy is dazed from the fart fumes. With Mayweather, they know a simple fart wont cut it... so they wanted a shart... which is a fart with a little shit on the end, turtle peaking. He was never able to fart in the ring though
I agree Floyd keeps us interested with his talent, but so do all of the best in their time (Tyson, De La Hoya, Robinson) The thing about Mayweather is that he calls himself the best of all time, and then he handpicks his opponents to fit his fighting style (how many southpaws in his last 10 fights?) Ali would just hear who everyone was talking about and challenge him, even if the person was younger, stronger or scarier. That's why they'll never be on the same level
Victor did all that talking but got caught up in the lights and started cheating...he was trying to use his head through the whole fight and got carried away. But Floyd told him twice on 24/7 "you make any mistakes you have to pay".... I think Victor is a heck of a Fighter but has a lot to learn when it comes to defense.
I like That gucci shirt.. its cool.... and btw De la hoya used to be my faviort boxer. but he retired my faviort boxer is now floyd mayweather but de la hoya did give mayweather a hell of a match. doe what ever there both legends.. but de la hoya is proably close to being a billionaire. now he makes pretty much every fight . golden boy
Coninued. in the fight he automatically deserves a rematch?he won 8 rounds to 4 !Like a true boxer, Floyd ADAPTED, changed his approach in the ring and went on to bloody his nose and embarrassed him for the the remainder MAJORITY of the fight. I don't recall seeing people on youtube asking for a remactch constantly, because they know judah ended up getting out boxed as soon as floyd figured him out. So a rematch wouldn't even help anything it would have been an easier fight like Castillo II.
Mayweather is the man, he shows more sportsmanship than any other athlete, he didn't have to shake everybody's hand with a smile being all nice..Just goes to show the Floyd is not what you see on 24/7 or bias Media...Unless your Filipino or Racist against blacks...Floyd is really a nice man to ALL boxing fans.
