Fluttershy being the pony I relate to the most, I was nodding throughout the majority of this video essay - I definitely consider myself a 9w1 from what I’ve heard here (off topic but with a lot of type 4 mixed in as well!) Yes! I have a major fear of arousing conflict, hence this constant desire for peace and aversion to fights! Your anecdote regarding a slight apprehension of just simply letting your parents know about your plans for the day is something I definitely relate to! And yes, the segment at the end is like me switching my accent to RP when a customer from Cambridge was speaking to me, hehe. Something I’ll add though is that if someone were to cut in front of me in line, my social anxiety would stop me from even speaking to them entirely - that’s them getting away with it either way 💔 14:31 I can confirm! Just seeing those words written on screen truly made my heart melt!
Yeah, I agree, I can really relate to Fluttershy in terms of how she's really bad with talking to new ponies in the beginning (Like shown in the first episode), really loving the quiet calm, and just not being able to confront people, and being really stressed out by conflict, but I wouldn't say I'm nine because I'm overall driven more to gain knowledge then having a calm mind, so I'd say I'm a 5w4 but honestly, I could be a nine maybe, and yeah, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Fluttershy tell some ponies that "Re-learning the same message" meant that she was taking in steps or something like that, in Flawless?

I’ve always related to Fluttershy. Maybe it’s because none of the others really hit the spot or I just love her so much I just feel like she feels like a little reflection of me. I have autism and It makes me feel like a burden to a lot of people that don’t understand me like if I just be normal then no one would be weirded out by me and I see that in Fluttershy and that’s something that makes me feel seen and not alone.
Hey, great video! I think Fluttershy shifted more towards a 9w8 as the series went on, as she can be harsh when necessary. Harsh but kind is a good combination 5:00 I disagree here, she explains in the end that she's trying to get him to change and rethink things by being nice to him. So she lets him do things that don't involve animal abuse or terrible actions, hoping to make a friend (and in the end, it works)

Hey Jake! It’s always awesome hangin out with you too. 😉 I remember taking an online test, and I got type 5. Though, I sat down with an enneagram coach, and they explained to me that I’m actually a type 9w1. I figured I was a 9w1 by self evaluation, but having someone who has credentials on the enneagram helped prove that to me.

I love this topic! My brother is a 9 and I've always called him Fluttershy, because he used to not be much of a talker and really likes small animals. BTW, what type are you doing next? I'm an 8 so I'm really looking forward to that!

The 2 things I can relate to fluttershy is I can relate when she think she can’t do things she is capable of and I can relate to her anxiety too be honest I relate to pinkie pie 1st most and twilight sparkle and fluttershy are the 2nd most but I relate to twilight just a bit more than fluttershy cause twilight sparkle of her anxiety and worrying personality and when she constantly thinks negative I can relate to pinkie pie and twilight sparkle the most out of all the mlp characters
