That is wicked helpful! I've struggling on how to make certain tropical leaves from 1mm foam for palm leaves be more realistic without intensive delicate carving. This will absolutely up my leaf game

Can't believe no one thought of that before! It's such a smart idea and I'll defenetly use the technique in one of my future builds :)

Hmm... I bet I could use that to add ridges to the horns on my dragon helm. I think I have a petal tip in my stash of piping tips.

Totally, I was wondering if that would be a helpful one to do and if I should do some on some of the rosette type of tricks and how to do those too.

Neat! Did you know you can pipe silicone caulking this way too? My fellow cake decorators and edible artists and i have used the kitchen/foodsafe stuff, piped on flexible plastic, which can be used to make a light impression in icing (thanks #KathleenLange !) And some have used piping bags to create textures in walls/moulding :-) i HIGHLY recommend picking up an actual piping bag set (~$5) - the coupler allows you to change out the tips and clean them if/WHEN they get clogged and the bag is much easier to squeeze and direct than a ziploc. Thanks for sharing!!

What did your results look like when it dried?
@CosplayApprentice
@CosplayApprentice 3 года назад
It settled a little and lot a little bit of the detail. But if I stuck it in the freezer right after doing it it would have preserved the detail and kept it from settling as much. :)
