Hey Guys A Few Of You Asked If I Could Show You How I Dyed The Fighters And The Royals So Here Is A Quick Vid Explaing How i Did It And What I Used. Thanks For Watching Stay Tuned for More Vids... Follow Me On IG: @staypuft76
Bros, use the angelus for the sides and permanent marker for the bottoms. Not sure if the walk on won't work but the big king size permanent marker stays black with no fade
If u use the black dye (4 coats)and some salon 40 and finisher it looks blacker and it stays on there longer.just give the die 1 hour between coats and it comes out good
I used the same walk on paint for my jordan futures ....the first wear the paint came off but i didn't apply a finisher .....was the paint only meant for the clear sole like the foamposite /jordan 11 or no im i okay
How can so many ppl be audacious enough to try to call him out but not even know the damn shoe. The 2017 release was ugly imo. Just cause you can get away with the icy blue sole on any shoe doesn't mean you should do it. Btw that 2010 pair is worth damn near twice as much DS.
+Andrew Bedingfield You can't make something dyed translucent again unless you remove the dye. If you use a thinner blue paint, you'll just end up with some sort of purple. Your best bet might be to bleach them or sand off the first layer that holds the dye... otherwise you'll just have to settle for fully opaque light blue.
hi I have watch your videos and many others containing methods of dying /painting shoes sole and i believe ill try this one now having failed at the rite dye peroxide method. are there any other prep steps that should be taken because i see some people not having success with painting the soles?
Thank you again for responding no one ever does. Also do you think the dye method will hold better seeing as its just a surface application as well right?
I watched the angelus video with the fighter jets and I did exactly what they said and I accidentally got it on the sneaker and i CAN NOT get it off and if I don't get it off the sneakers will be ruined so how do I get it off the actual sneaker!!??
the stuff this guy is using is more for dress shoes that are already black on the bottom that need to be touched up bit if you get angelus black dye and mix it with sole bright half and half ratio it will dye better and use a clear finisher after it dries to stop it from fading off
This dye is actually made to be walked on the 1st few times i wore my other foams i dyed they were fine but eventually it started to ware in some parts i would recommend using a sole protector when done also you can find the dye on ebay its called Angelus Walk On Black it was about $12 if i remember correctly
***** Clear coat is a clear protective spray for paint and black sole dye so it doesn't come off. if painting or dying leather use angelus high gloss or matte clear finisher and for foamposites or patent leather any krylon spray clear coat will work.
Okay I followed the video but I wore them once and as soon as a stepped out the door paint started coming off I I paint like a pro why isn't it staying ?
Yeah me too. I think it will hold up best if you get like a sole protector. I have some pines i dyed black and i walk outside for a few minutes, they seem to start fading in some spots.
I uploaded another video explaining that I ended up going with a sole protector mine did not immediately rub off but they sat almost 3 months after I painted them before I wore them for the 1st time
