I was on Corsica with my wife on motorcycle. She bought me Caggiari hand made corsican folding knife. Fantastic pice with olive wood handle. This one is allso beautiful but little heavy. Nice video, tasty food :-)
I already know this knife is going to be waaaay out of my price range, but I'm still going to want one. An elegant and beautiful design, though very simple at heart. Very nice review, as always!
Hola Stefan.
This is such a gorgeous knife!! I absolutely love the lines on it! Another fantastic video Stefan! You're making me want to eat and buy knives after every video!!
Another wonderful production sir. Thank you for your hard work. I hope you, and your family, and friends are well, and stay that way during these trying times.
Well Stefan, Another gorgeous knife encompassed with great history, packaged in your beautiful production style!!! *And the narrator isn't too bad either..lol😂 Bless You Sir🙏
Tolle Vorstellung, Fantastisches filework, genialer Verschluss, gefällt!
Outstanding review as always! Great Eastern Cutlery has used this locking mechanism on their #23 bull lock but that knife is very hard to find. Great to see a French manufacturer give another take on it.
They are forced to rely on social media only because you won't take money to produce ads. Your reviews though, if a knife meets your standards, the reviews are better quality than any ad a maker could buy. Always a pleasure to see one of your videos in my notifications. Stay well.
Thank you, Matthew! - As for the IWA show that I mentioned in my video, this is a big business to business trade fair where knife manufacturers present their new products to retailers. For small manufacturers like Fontenille Pataud this show is more important than running ads.
yes 17XV, his voice is really soothing to your ears. very nice review. make you wanna buy the knife. unfortunately, you cant see this kind of knife where I am from. stay safe everyone.
Stefan , as usual an excellent presentation . Is the lock release comfortable when held at the end of the handle . I am drawn to the Corsican knives and are split between the Le Rhondinara and this model. I watched your review of the 5 Coqs knife and bought one with a stag handle . The quality has to be seen and felt to be truely appreciated . Thank you ATB Chris.
@@BCMZ Actually, there's a knife on my review list that is made by WE Knife. It's the new Grailer 2, a gentleman's flipper folder designed by the young Belgian knifemaker Simen Stryckers.
I would also recommand this one, the Anto. I really like there Thiers Nature, but it's not the most ergonocmic knife. The Anto has the benefit of both being a beautifull object and a good practical knife. But if you are more after tradition, Laguiole is an easy choice, but allow me to recomand the capuchadou instead. More original and at least as authentic as a Laguiol
Great work Stefan. The knife looks fantastic, but mammoth molar, that's a conversation starter. I need to stop watching till the end of your videos, it always makes me hungry watching you cut up that sausage and cheese lol
