I am a grandfather raising my grandsons ,I am trying to teach them.the value of whole food versus processed food and fast food . More vegetables less sugar slighting fruit a bit ,I am researching which processor and how to use your video helped us alot thanks for the knowledge
Thanks Pamela - My wife bought me a Kenwood mixer with all the attachments - including the food processor attachment four years ago, and whilst I've loved using the kenwood - I've always been a bit scared of the processor! You've just shown me how easy it is to use it and how much easier it will make my food prep. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart! Have a wonderful day and stay safe.
Why have I lived into my 40's without a food processor! 🤯 I tried one, one time and it pureed my veggies so I felt defeated and never touched it again. Thank you for such a great (short) tutorial. I'm excited to make my bean burgers in half the time!
Thank you so much Pamela, I've been given a food processor for Christmas present and your video helps me to understand my machine better. Happy New Year from Australia!
I have a KitchenAid food possessor, but I love, love, love, the Breville adjustable blade. THAT'S awesome! Thank you for the very educational video. You opened my eyes to a lot of possibilities!!!
Thank you for this video! I HATE chopping onions and I freeze them when I do chop a few at a time. We go through so many. Now I can freeze more at one time by pulse chopping. Literally life changing! Thank you!😊 👍
Love your video! I have a Cuisinart that I've used for several years and it works great. Omg your kitchen is beautiful! I needed this.. thank you so much!! Great video. Thank you!
Thanks, I am buying my 1st Food Processor in my life … I love cooking, baking etc and am so use to hand chopping everything BUT have finally taken the plunge … I am so excited to get it, should be arriving in 2 weeks or less, just thought I'd looked up info on use etc as I am not the best at reading the instruction book & then trying to apply it (lol) Again, thanks, very clear and informative ! Cindy :)
@@pamelasalzman Thank-you ! Checked on it's status, it arrives this Tuesday :) ! YIPPEE !! Forgot to mention that we *love onions* in almost everything … So glad you included this in your video b/c I was truly shocked at how FAST they became - so small, (eeek) … Again, Thanks for your time in making the video - … your effort has saved me money, right blade to use (s) and the pulse button + some onions from an early death (being pureed) lol :)
Love it!!!! I was one of those guys who got one for Christmas and it’s been in the pantry for a while!! 😂...... well now am ready for action. ..... you almost wonder how did I get by without it!!! Lol
Thank you! kisses! Great video. Thank you! Thank you! kisses! Omg your kitchen is beautiful! Great video. Thank you! Thanks for making this video so easy to follow instructions.
This is the video I’ve been waiting for! Never thought about the brussels sprouts, but I love them thanks for the tip. As always 100% retention on the video from me Pamela! 👌🏼😊
Thanks for sharing, Just bought a Breville Sous Chef. Looking forward to using it for sauerkraut. I am guessing the adjustable thickness slicing blade as that is what I do with my knife.
So I was ready to make some coleslaw. My GF woke up and excited she decided she wanted to use the food processor as I just got it ready. Reluctantly I gave her some cabbage and advised her to pulse instead of hi-lo. She got angry and pulsed the cabbage into just short of a puree. I encouraged her that it was okay but she stormed off to bed upset that I made her look dumb. Little did either of us know we weren't suppose to use both the s-blade and the slicer. So I comforted her letting her know it wasn't her fault. Moral of the story is; tell your gf her Cabbage puree is beautiful regardless of your instinct.
Thanks for making this video so easy to follow instructions. MINIMIZE MOUTH NOISY JUST SHOW THE JOB PROPERLY Love your video! I have a Cuisinart that I've used for several years and it works great.
On occasion I have been in other people's home and wanted to use their bathroom, but I have never been in someone's home and said, "I need to use your food processor".
Omg!!!!!! You must be a Taurus!!!! Because you hit every question there is to had!!!! I’ve had mines for 5 yrs now!!! Now I know how to use it!!!! Happy thanksgiving!!! U have a new subbie!!!!!
Excellent; there aren't enough actual demonstrations of food processors and some people, like me, get a bit scared of these massive bladed machines. I've still got a Nutribullet with the giant motor still in the box. Too afraid of using it.
I am a man and I use a Mandolin, who needs a big chopper to satisfy there needs, it's all in the action that you get the bigger satisfaction from your chopper and how you use it.😋 I have a Ninja and Vitamix.😳😜
I tend to use a mandolin when I have a lot of cutting to do. Otherwise just a knife and cutting board. The food processor just has too many parts that don't handle being put in the dishwasher, and you need to cut everything with the knife first anyway. What's the point unless you are cooking for 50?
I don't have a spiraling blade for my food processor, but if you have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, you can get a spiralizing attachment for that machine.
You would have to blend with a little water and strain. A Vitamix would do a better job. But a food processor and a blender are not juicers. You will not get the same result.
