I have been diagnosed with low magnesium, I was taking 450mg per day although I couldn’t stop going to the restroom. Now I take about 200 mg per day in supplements. I need to add these foods that are high in magnesium. I actually had a episode with my heart, the cardiologist believes it most likely happened because of the low magnesium.
I have read that different forms of magnesium may not affect your bowels as much. Maybe do some research and try a different form &/or consult a naturopath. Also, I break it up and drink my magnesium citrate powder (cheap, well-absorbed, easy to take) twice or even three times a day. I don't have a problem when each dose is 50% of the RDA or less.
I had the same issue. I take 320mg of magnesium glycinate (easier on the stomach and absorbed better by the gut) BUT I also realized that I must pair it with a magnesium rich diet to get the full effect! Hope you are much better when you read this! I know how it feels.
This is so interesting! I craved chocolate at the beginning of my pregnancies all of them. Before I even knew I was pregnant that was always a sign that I was pregnant. I'm struggling so bad right now with swelling in my right hand and feet and ankles. Pittied edema but I don't have high blood pressure so strange I actually have low blood pressure I'm getting so worried. I am 34.weeks pregnant with twins their movement has lessed as well
Chocolate I eat chocolate beans leafy greens doesn’t work for me so I tried Ionic Magnesium it seems to really help with muscle spams and sleep regulate blood pressure 😁
I'm not sure that magnesium from Epsom salts is actually BIOAVAILABLE for our body's use. I think we have to get our useable magnesium from food or certain kinds of supplemental magnesium: orotate. glycinate are two usable forms in the body.
