putting that engine in the gearbox was the biggest headache, didnt take the bumper off or have an engine hoist lool. good job buddy look foward to seeing the next project!!

Thankyou for the great videos , you done a great job , And spent alot of time and effort doing this , it good information on the 1 liter ecoboost engine in the fiesta . I have been in a 2018 ford fiesta st line , 1 liter ecoboost 140 hp , and wow thay get up and go . A pocket rocket , their a great engine , apart from that timing belt and oil pump belt issues.

I came across these videos today. Well done on notorious badly designed engine. We have one of these engines fitted to our transit connect van. It's bloody awful. It's had numerous coolant leaks. Clutch went after only 14,000 miles on it. Throttle body failed. Its go to be one of the worst engine designs I've ever seen. Also that internal Clutch slave cylinder also fails, which means taking the gearbox out to replace. Another stupid idea. You're a brave man for even buying a car with a eco bust engine.

Great series of videos I thoroughly enjoyed them . I've just bought my son the same motor even colour and thankfully the garage had done the belts and cleaned the strainer with 76000k on the clock so fingers crossed this issue doesn't happen . May I ask the name of your jack please .

Very nice video, I have a 2019 Fiesta with the same engine. Have you encountered the 'Charging System Service Now' warning message? Cant seem to get rid of it despite changing the battery, and resetting the BMS. The car is actually charging and runs fine except for that warning.

My first Engine failed at 46k due to a missed recall involving faulty Degas Hose which dumps coolant destroying Engine... Ford put hands up and replaced with new engine. Last week my replacement Engine has failed at 34k due to the death rattle involving low oil pressure due to blocked stump etc My car is now in garage waiting to have Engine stripped. Ford have said they will not help with any costs etc even though they know it's a bad design. Do you have an email I can contact you on mate to ask a few questions? Where did you get the Engine block for £1k+ vat?

You will need new bolts for the main cap and big ends. Main Caps oil jets top 8 4 1 5 7 3 2 6 Stg 1 10Nm Stg 2 25Nm Stg 3 30Nm Stg 4 Angle tighten 15 Deg. Big Ends oil jets top 4 1 5 3 2 6 Stg 1 8Nm Stg 2 12Nm Stg 3 18Nm Stg 4 Angle tighten 35 Deg.
