Hmmm! So I'm doing a lighting conversion in my 97 f150 with a t56. Learning as I go.. so what is the purpose of this? Engine is on the stand now so now us the time to do this..
It recycling exhaust/carbon back into your upper manifold. Bring up the heat fast on warm ups. I'd do oil catch can to, so the oil does get recycle it back into your upper manifold. If you both of these your intercooler will never have to be pulled and cleaned. It's not a easy job in the truck but it can be done. Hope this helps.
Another question. I see everyone fighting like hell to get the elbow out of the lower intake is there a reason you can't just plug it from the inside and leave that elbow there? or does it thread to far in?
@@builtmikesway1167 just following up i finally did my egr delete and turkey pan mod and i didn't have to use a tap to get it started it went right in so weird i'm wondering if maybe different years the pan is tapped differently?
Mr BMW There's another RU-vid channel called boosted Dave who did the EGR delete he rerouted in a way that he didn't need to get a custom tune to delete the EGR function Are you aware of this method? The reason I ask is my 97 E350 has a 5.4 2 valve as well and the EGR setup is similar
