I grew up watching the beautiful Allison Payne in the 90s. She was the whole package of beauty, intellect, professionalism, and grace. You were a true role model for all of us young girls in Chicagoland who saw a familiar face in yours. Because of your presence on WGN News, many us have sought to better our lives through higher education and some to pursue careers in journalism. Thank you, Ms. Allison Payne, for being a beacon of light to this world. Rest in peace eternally.
How did she pass? What was the cause of death? Can we assume this occurred shortly after being vaccinated? Probably a good assumption since government and the MSM doesn't put it out there, like when Hank Aaron and Marvin Hagler both contracted CV and died shortly after being vaccinated.
@@brianwoo8877 she was ill long before Covid. The video mentioned she moved back to her hometown of Detroit in 2011. I don’t think that’s what happened to her.
I am in shock! When I lived in Chicago she was one of my favorites. I followed her career and WGN after I went back to the east coast I admired her and WGN was my favorite station. Class, Integrity, Grace, and Dignity -- she had it all. Her beauty was obvious but the characteristics that made her a great journalist and teammate were not obvious to the eye. My prayers are for her family, friends, her WGN family and all in Chicago touched by her professionalism.
Not only was she Beautiful. She was an outstanding journalist/news anchor. We have been missing her presence in regards of reporting news and current events. Thank You!! May your spirit rest in Eternal Peace❣
According to Christian myth, their god is all-powerful, so he murdered this woman. He doesn't give a crap about her or her family, if he exists at all.
IF She was purchased by JESUS the Messiah she will be there. IF she didn't care about HIS WILL in her life she won't. G'D is the KING OF THE UNIVERSE and we're supposed to do HIS WILL not ours.
@@DogTog You will face HIM also when your days on earth are over! Who gave you life? Who gave you strength at night while you are asleep? Who makes the sun and the moon turn? Who put the earth in the right ankle so there are seasons? etc.etc. You really talk like a great fool! Every day you live is a day of mercy for you, a new chance to repent and get to know HIM! ONLY A FOOL says in his heart 'there is no god'.
@@DogTog You lack understanding. Stop being angry at God because he isn't angry with you. God gave his creation free will. The creation (man and angels) made the wrong choices. Stop blaming God. Every day we have the freedom to choose to do good or evil. Many still choose to do evil knowing what they choose to do is wrong and will not produce good fruit.
I just stumbled across this notice and l am in shock. I grew up on the South Side of Chicago watching Allison Payne as a child. WGN 9 o’clock News. She will be GREATLY missed 😢 A true legend indeed ❤️❤️❤️
Same! I grew up in Lincoln park and every morning before school, my mom would watch WGN and I just remember seeing her on tv every morning. Rip Allison.
It’s where I remember Allison Payne from as well - Chicago WGN. I also remember just about the time she came to Chicago. She was very pretty and poised with a great voice and nice smile. May the Lord with her family and friends. Rest In Peace Allison.
I remember watching her throughout my lifetime, as she was an amazing gifted talented journalist and reporter. My deepest heartfelt condolences to all her family and friends. I pray she is resting peacefully in God's loving arms.
She probably was depressed because she could no longer do her dream job... that's understandable.. BUT chemical dependency? Where did you read that at?
i am so sorry to hear this. this is someone i wish we all watched over the years and got to know. Chicago was blessed to have her. RIP Sweet lady.we live in Canada and send our prayers to you all.
I remember watching this great News Anchor. She was so professional and had a smooth delivery when reporting the news. She will be missed. My prayers goes out to the family.
Oh my God this is such a shock, I watched Ms. Payne throughout the years, many prayers to her surviving family, RIP Ms. Payne, you will be dearly missed 😘
@B Pope You just insist on being a pile of 💩. Just because your color (or lack thereof) is the only reason YOU can get a job, doesn't mean that was the case for this lady.
Allison Payne is being a very good journalist with the superstation WGN-Chicago from 1991-2012. This is heartbreaking 💔 to see a member of then WGN-CHICAGO NEWS TEAM IS No longer with the company and family. RIP Allison Payne 🙏 😢 💔 😪 😔 😞 🙏!
I remembered this BEAUTIFUL woman being on WGN news. I always thought that she was so beautiful and good at what she did. I was wondering where she was. She left her mark behind and thanks for all that great news that you did.
She was way too young to die at age 57. May she Rest In Peace ☮️. I thought she would live to age 95. 57 is too young to die. She lived a really good honest life.
I remember watching her back in the day!! Allison was one of the earliest examples of grace, beauty, and intelligence as a woman of color!!!! So sad to see her dearly departed😢😭
This came up in my news feed on RU-vid. I hadnt heard about this lady before , however after watching the video I can tell she was an awesome person. Very classy , beautiful , smart and blessed !! R.I.P. sister.
The bible compares our life to a vapor that quickly disappears, or a plant that is here today and gone tomorrow. Do you think about what happens after you are gone? Where is your soul going? Have you heard of a place called heaven and a place called hell? Today I want to urge you to surrender your life to God. Salvation is gifted to us from God out of pure love. All we need to do is believe and follow Jesus Christ. This scripture sums it up. For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Turn your life over to Christ today, tomorrow may be too late. If you have any comments or questions feel free to ask me.

Also these things have been going on in life since the beginning of time when you recognize that you don’t have too repeat the same cycle in life…
I remember watching her on the news as a child and teenager. We live in TN, but would get the Chicago news. She will be deeply missed! Rest in Heaven Allison!
Prayers of love to her family, she was one of those voices and personalities that made you feel as though you knew her while she was delivering the news. She had such a great spirit she will truly be missed.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Life is so precious we should never ever take it for granted for it's only a loan to us, and taking away from us unexpectedly... condolences to the family.🌹
What did she died of? Bc some here is spreading that the vax finished her off? very insensitive I think without knowing? these people are so ignorant disregard and disrespectful!!
@@marblox9300 There are ALOT of us Chicago transplants in Nashville now who still watch Chicagoland news to stay connected to the Windy City. Ms.Payne will be missed.
A very warm, thorough, respectful tribute. What jumps out is that from 47 to 57 she seems to have been away from her chosen profession, broadcasting. That horrible stroke experience must have been more serious / devastating than first indicated. If so, those last 10 years much have been awful. Allison Payne, R. I. P.
Absolutely! Thank you for bringing this point to light. Someone inquired on what was her cause of death was and stated maybe it was the COVID vaccine. Really? Did he not watch the same video we did? She left Chicago to come back to Detroit 10 years ago. Covid didn’t hit until 2019. Duh??? This is how rumors get started.
@@intelectual7763 It's obvious that English isn't your first, second or even third language. Still, you should try to write a simple, correct English sentence, no matter how short a time you have been in our country.
@@maxalberts2003 And you are, so stupid. Bs the questions is very clear. Maybe you need to study or better go to check your cognitive brain. I think you need a doctor
She was such a beautiful Spirit to watch daily. I trusted her journalism & I am truly saddened by her passing. May God Bless her family, friends, and loved ones. She will be missed 🤲🏼🙏🏼🥺
Wow!!! Growing up watching her in my early 20's, being an African American young woman, I thought she was so beautiful, elegant, smart, poised. So sad to hear about this.
Loved Allison and the way She delivered the News. Without RU-vid and this Channel, it would have taken me longer to find out what happened to her. May her soul rest in Paradise
“Parted ways” sounds like she was fired for her health issues. I get that it’s business but it’s still seems heartless and very sad. Condolences to her family.
@Nachos Livestream now I listened to it, that's strange! She could of mentioned "I spoke to former anchor Steve Sanders about her" instead of I spoke to Allison. Weird
@Nachos Livestream yes I caught it. It was a slip of the tongue. She was attempting to say she spoke to Allison's co-anchor, but she inserted herself into the sentence I guess because he was her coworker at one point as well and it messed her up.
I had been thinking about Allison Payne over the last few years...wondering what she was up to....working on. To hear this news, very upsetting. Every word of praise said for this lady is true. She is terribly missed.
My condolences. She was a gift to humanity. May her work and contributions memorialize her. Peace and strength to the bereaved. She was loved and admired
Condolences to Alison's friends and family. 🙏 I remember when I was a child, watching her on the news when she was on WNEM channel 5 in Michigan, before WGN. She will be sorely missed.
I missed this broadcast. I remember walking down aisle 11 of the Jewel Foods store in Illinois i worked in at the time and seeing her at the service desk being assisted. I never met her in my life but, while walking toward the service desk, i saw her from behind but, instantly recognized who she was. As i got about halfway down the aisle she finished her business at the service desk and, turned left, while stepping back slightly from the counter then, while taking a step forward, she looked left down the aisle i was in and, we quickly exchanged glances. She walked forward made two rights to head for the exit door. This was a few hours before the 9:00 p.m. broadcast. That memory is so vivid. I'm only five years younger than her. Rest in peace sister.
I use to have a serious crush on her back in the day. I remember when the Chicago Bulls had their 3-peat years she would anchor the parade every time they had one. She was cool and had a smile that was equivalent to sunshine. RIP A.P.
@@davidhelling5968 Thinking the same.... Considering she was prone to strokes...also caused by the population control jabs in many... And numerous other health issues the report is so vague about...which the jabs are also responsible for in hundreds of thousands... Seems that if she took the jabs, that could very well be, what did her in. The deception & coverups surrounding these poisonous jabs is downright criminal! May she be at Peace w/our Savior.🎚🕊 Prayers for comfort to her family.

SO sad! I am a native of the Chicagoland area and I remember watching Allison in my younger years. The news of her passing touches my heart immensely. Prayers and condolences for her family and everyone who was blessed to know her personally. She will be missed!
Oh no.... I remember her here in Saginaw. When she left I was soo happy for her, I watched her often. Soo sad she is gone. May the Lord Bless her family!!!!
Prayers and Condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Allison. Because of Cable television we could watch Allison here in Ohio. She was always so professional and classy.
Sincerest condolences to your TV family and Allison's family and friends. She left us way too soon. I remember watching her on channel 9. Rest in peace, angel.
