I was wondering if maybe the boxes had been dropped on the road to feed some lucky homeless guy....But, hey! At the price of groceries today this is what we've been reduced to! LOL!!
Why would a box of breakfast cereals be on the side of the road? Was little Tim behaviour bad so mum thrown his favourite breakfast out the window and said "There Tim you get no breakfast"
One thing I love about Steve is he enjoys the simple things in life like finding cereal on the side of the road. He get so excited like a kid on Christmas! I love it. Keep on camping Steve!
Usually when I watch foraging videos, I wonder how they can keep track of all the different leaf shapes/mushroom colors. This feels much more achievable.
The two of you all giddy like five year olds topped off with the closing shot of Steve eating out of the carton - with milk! is perfect in every possible way.
@@SteveWallisStep2 Do you think it's possible someone deliberately left those cartons for someone who may be stranded and or lost? It seems if they were discarded, they'd be closer together. Best regards.
I have to admit I'm really happy to see steve spending time with other people and just being ok. Sometimes it's surprise cereal on the side of the road, sometimes it's errands before an adventure, sometimes it's the adventure itself. Either way it's a good wholesome time with some wholesome guys
I love watching a real Hunter Gatherer hunting in their natural habitat. It is the very rare variety pack species aswell. It doesn't get any better than that. You and your mate made me laugh. You crazy Canadians. 🇨🇦
If you have ever been at a time in your life where food wasn't an easy procurement, being able to spot stuff like this comes natural....not sure if that was the case for Steve, but I recognize the trait!
That is totally hysterical! Scrounge rewards! My Dad taught me to stop & check things on the road. Mom was mortified! First thing I remember him finding was a large copper bottom frying pan on a highway in the Adirondacks! He wasn't surprised when I told him about the pumpkin that rolled off the farm truck in front of me.. It split in 2. But as it JUST happened I screamed for my friend to stop! We picked it up. I made 3 pies out of that thing! Keep your eyes on the road... the shoulder and the ditches! Rewards!🎉
Been watching your other channel for a long time, just subscribed to this one, and now I suddenly get all this extra Steve. It's like finding a bunch of cereal on the side of the road.
I forgot about those little boxes! Watching this brought memories to me of using them! I thank you for sharing your video of both of you grabbing them, it was pretty funny.
I use to live close to where Kellogg's cereal and Post cereal were invented. They still do the worlds longest breakfast table. It use to be a proud place, a place you wanted to live. Maybe one day it will be again. Thanks for sharing your life adventures with us Steve. I'm also thankful for Scott being there to help you with your video's, and I'm sure he helps with more than just recording.
Steve, may the unrestrained joy and exuberance you show at 2:21 never leave you. Ever. Whenever something gets you down, fall back on this. You found the Fun Pac. Just add milk and....Nirvana
Lmao, I'd have been totally devastated if you hadn't cut the side of the box open. Aaaah the memories. The only time we got those as kids was when we went camping. How ironic. 😂
"doesn't get any better than this" is my favorite line now. This brought back an instant childhood memory of our family of 8 driving from Mi to FL and stopping and having breakfast boxes at the rest stop. You really made me laugh at the end! Love you Steve!!
Love it! That’s not ‘food’, that’s a treasure trove! Back when we’re kids, a pack of sugary cereals like the ones you could cut open and fill with milk would set your folks back $7-8…the same price of both a heaping clear bag of no-name brand of puffed rice and a bag of wheat-o’s! This pack of delights were only bought for school breaks like Christmas, March Break and for camping trips! They’d splurge on a case of mixed sugar Crush pops or Pop Shop bottles. They’d also arrange to borrow a Beta recorder so we could rent a few movies over the course of the 😊holiday - other than go to the Drive-in, the Odeon was right out of the question for a young family. But I digress down memory lane! 😊 Bully for you, Steve…I would have done the exact same thing and stopped at the next 7-11 for a gallon of milk! Living’ large !😂 Remember still being offered sugar to add to your cereal? I don’t think my parents ever tasted more than Shreddies and Wheaties.
I was hoping the behind the scenes stuff would show how you set up shots and the like, but this is much more entertaining. Thanks to Scott, for playing along.😂😂😂
Wow, good eye, seeing that long the side of the road! We wouldn't dare pick up anything like that around here, for fear it had been "adulterated" and left there on purpose. 😳
My dad always was watching for anything on the side of the road. He would stop and back up to rescue ut. As a teenager it bothered me. I will do that now and always pick up pennies also. Go guys!!!
LOL this was so great!! Post is still around…they just don’t make anything noteworthy. What a great groundscore!! X2 even!!! Also THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE EVER SEEN SOMEONE USE THE BOX LIKE A BOWL PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS! So great!!

Steve-😂-you have lost your fruit loops!!! You have turned into a cereal food finder but I would of done the same ( as I have also lot my marbles or fruit loops long ago!) I also think that giving those abandoned by the roadside, a good and secure home, with lots of love, is a wonderful thing to do. I hope they bring you lots of joy! 🌻🙏🍀👍🏻Genius……
Lol! This is awesome :) one time my uncle almost flipped the van trying to U-turn so quickly because he thought he saw a diamond. It must have been a piece of glass but it was still funny. In my opinion, it's always worth a U-turn to see what you saw :) Go Steve! And his friend!
There’s a joke in there somewhere about road kill and “cereal” killers. Seriously, though the honest excitement of you two kids finding gold on the side of the road on St. Patrick’s Day - classic! ❤
This video was AWESOME! I felt such a sense of excitement. That feeling of not knowing whether you'll succeed in the moment! So thrilling! I really mean it. I'm still smiling. This is the kind exactly the kind of thing I'd do if I saw cereal on the side of the rode.
What a fun and lucky day. Great eyesight and situational awareness sir! Your well executed maneuver to quickly salvage the lost cereal was a bonus. Anyone could have got there first, but you did it.
Hysterical! I love it!! We had an expression growing up "sidewalk shopping" and found all kinds of furniture, toys etc but I never did "highway shopping". 😂
I nearly had a hissy one time because my husband didn’t back the car up quick enough when I saw money blowing across the road. Only seven dollars but it might as well have been $700 for all the joy it gave me..
Hi Steve, so great to see you guys having so much fun over a variety pack of cereal.😂We loved them while we where camping, great memories!See you soon, Take care and Be safe ❤❤
Welcome to our wonderful island highway. You'll never know what you'll find on the side of the road. Good to see you exploring up and down the island, Steve!
Ahhh yes, early Spring !!! That time of year were the waffle trees start to bud, you can see the French toast plants starting to peak out from under the melting snow but it also is a dangerous time for the, rarely seen, poor little multi-cereal packs as they start their annual migration across the dangerous highway to their yearly spawning grounds. Unfortunately, some don't make it !!! 😂😂😂😂😂 Nice score Steve !!! 👍👍🌲🌲🌲🇨🇦🍻
If you can call it food! My grandfather said once that there is more food content in the Corn Flakes box than there is in the Corn Flakes. But what was so priceless was the joy of the hunt and that it was about doing it with a friend. So food value aside... it looked like a valuable experience. Thank you for sharing.
You two giggle about finding the Cerials and eating straight out of the box - pure joy like five year old boys. I love how you just enjoy the simple things in live Steve! Actually i neet to go to the store, buy me some tiny cerials and eat them directly from the box - that ist my goal for saturday now!
