Get an inside look at tours offered by Four Roses and Maker's Mark! My girlfriend and I recently visited both distilleries on our first trip to visit the Kentucky Bourbon Trail! We had a fantastic day and I wanted to recap for you all what these standard tours look like. If you've been planning a visit to the bourbon trail, have a dream of going, or just love getting to see how whiskey is made, then I hope this provides some insight! Cheers!

I really enjoyed this video! As someone who is going to be going next month the way you presented it step by step. I have my tour booked for next month and if you don't mind me asking if you could share the prices to dip your own bottle? I can't find that information anywhere and I want to make sure I take enough with me as I will also be doing other tours. Thanks for the video and cant wait to see you get many more subscribers!

Thank you! I'm so glad you found the video helpful. While I was there they were offering 1 liter bottles of the Maker's Mark 101 to be hand dipped. I'm not sure if it's just limited to that or if you can purchase other bottles to dip. There is no extra charge for dipping your own bottle, so I think I paid about $55 for the 1 liter bottle that day and then got to dip it! Looking forward to making more content for everyone and let me know if there's any other kinds of videos you'd like to see. Cheers!

@@thebourbonhutch9574 Thanks for replying that's good to know that they don't charge extra for dipping. I got a tour booked with Heaven Hill also where they let you bottle your own bottle so I'm going to dip and bottle on my trip.

@@704musicent Thanks for the Heaven Hill tip! Jim Beam also let us personalize one with our fingerprint and engrave the bottle. We're going back next year. I'll tell my husband about Heaven Hill.

I drove to maker’s mark but couldn’t find the actual gift shop?? Any suggestions

I'm not sure I can direct you to where the gift shop is from memory...the tour had us end in that building. But I would say try to ask someone who works there to direct you to the gift shop. The welcome center is up at the top of the hill and has a glass ceiling. Someone in there should be able to point you in the right direction. Everyone we met was very nice :)
