This is always a hotly debated topic on mustang forums. I give some of the good and bad of using solid bushings and heim joints on the street. And if you should use a anti roll bar on the street.
@@fox-body heim on top new rubber on bottom i took out the polys on bottoms a little quirky sometimes but work ok the tops.do most of the pinion angle adjjust which has been my success to hooking
You run the 1 inch shorter front a-arms correct? If so, does everything fit well with that 4.5 inch front wheel if i have stock brakes for now? I want to eventually upgrade to the brakes you have but i know they push the wheel out a bit. I just dont want to buy a-arms twice. Also, any issues with getting the front end aligned with the shorter arms?
Yes I have 1 inch shorter a arms. You should be good with fitment. Stock brakes will be a little more tucked but You could always run a spacer until you upgrade the brakes. No alignment issues.
I think you stated correctly at the end of the video. If it’s a street/strip car mainly going to the track or the occasional car show pretty summer day disconnect the anti roll and race suspension the hell out of it it’ll be fine I’ve done it for years on the other hand IF it’s a DAILY then ONLY use the poly stuff the race stuff will get trashed by heavy rain, mud, snow You really just have to use common sense and be honest with yourself on what you TRULY want the car to do. And even the poly stuff is a HUGE difference from the factory ride and performance so you can’t go wrong Just my two cents.
Jamey Richardson Well said. I agree you have to decide how much street driving you will be doing. Some of the forums make me laugh. Every one thinks they need x275 level suspension. Lol!
Anti-seize will just collect dirt and stones and wipe out that joint throw those in the trash get south side lift bars and be done with it. Been in the high 8’s on them.
