FOX Inflatable Boat and 65lb Electric Motor 

I used to have an Avon boat that size with a 3 HP gas motor. I had a job in Yuma AZ at the time and rented a farmhouse 1/2 mile from the Colorado river. Loads of fun.

Have my eye on for while hoping pull the trigger on one very soon reckon it’s must have for the lake fishing. 🎣 great review thanks.

Nice review... you're ready for the high seas now.... lol. Those electric motors are so quiet, and you'll get a good run out of it kept on 'low' speed ... save a lot of rowing. lol I find it's best to row on the way to where you're going, saving the motor for the return trip home (in case of emergency, you'll have the battery power left and a quick way back). Glenn.

Nice. If you want another one or two or more. Head down to Dover coastline. They are free for the taking everyday just abandoned on the beach.With motors and fuel cans too. Every day.

Great trolling motor and for the price you can't beat it. It's saltwater approved/rated but I have not tested it yet. Does great so far in lakes and rivers

looks very much like a lead acid battery rather than a lithium! lithium would be about £800+ more than the whole rig!!!

It is a really nice boat and that engine is completely silent, It must be a pleasure to sail with that setup. You talked about 10 miles on a charge, it's actually not that bad. There's just one small problem with that engine, the engine is not good for your sixpack. 😜

Do you need a license or permit to use it on the internal waterways rivers streams canals lakes not much use if its not allowed or is restricted

We use a very similar set up and a 100AH lipo4 battery made all the difference we get 3+ hours at full throttle if you want to see take a look at our channel.

65 lb thruster eh? I have a 30 on my raft of similar size. I hear you cant get any faster though, even if you hooked up 3 65lb, you would still go the same speed as a 30lb. I dont get it.

So i have 12v adapters for the battery and i run 2 electric air pumps. It's so fast. And it's cool because you can also use them to suck the air out.

I understand PVC is not good for hot weather. The fabric boats are a lot more expensive but great for hot states and last much longer. They cost a few thousands instead of hundreds of dollars.

I caught a couple of pound striped bass on this lure the first time I used it.

Very handy unit. I use a canoe which I my area is good when portages are needed. That is nice where you get longer sections of water. Nice and stable for fishing. Atb Paul

I like it alot because it's Much more environmentally friendly than a petrol motor. I don't know anything about boats, but I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective way to cross my channel. The man in the marine office recommend a blow up dingy with a motor, so I'm guessing that's the same type of model as what your using? the reason he said I need a motor is because there is a risk of getting pulled away by the current with just using the oars alone without that extra push, but does that mean you don't use the oars at all?
